Delivered a boat there over the weekend. Friendly crew and helpful. Has marine store and seems adequatley stocked. Dinghy docking can be a challenge, I docked next to boat ramps.

Gas dock is small, 2015-06-15

They now sell gas but you have to go in all the way to the sea wall. if your boat is over 25 i would not try it. Too tight. Better off going to Magothy Marina for gas.

I took my 3 year old Yamaha in for service with Chuck and he did a great job. He communicated well and did as indicated in time and money.

Outstanding Outboard Service, 2014-09-11

I purchased a 2.5hp Yamaha from Fairwinds in September 2009. I brought it to Chuck (Shop Foreman) for winterization and storage for the last 3 years. Chuck is very knoweldgable, personable, and very customer oriented. Because of Chuck's exceptional service, I look forward to bringing my motor in and will purchase my next Yamaha from Fairwinds.
In addition, Fairwinds has a fully stocked marine store for outboard parts and accessories, as well as fishing and marine supplies.

Great Ship Store, 2014-06-13
Captain: , Annapolis Maryland (111)

Fairwinds has an amazing ships store with tons of new and also used boat parts that you wouldnt find any other place. Hesitate to say they have a boat "Junk Yard" because it's not junk, but a place you can go to find random parts for anything and everything marine. They have new merchandise, and lots of warehouse space that's full of other collected goods.

Mixed Impressions, 2011-10-26

I just picked up a salvaged sailboat from this marina (10/25/11). They were very professional, direct and "ger-r-done" oriented. So they seem to be professional and competent. I purchased the boat sight unseen on Craigs List and was a bit miffed that when I went to close the deal the owner added an extra $250 for the lift fee to put the boat on my trailer. Since it would obviously need to be lifted onto a trailer, he hid the actual price of the transaction until the last moment. I also used the head while I was there. It was possibly the most unclean restroom I have ever been in.

Great people, good marina, 2011-06-15
Captain: , Annapolis (145)

Good marina for small to mid-sized boats. We've kept several sailboats there. Always helpful - especially in looking after your boat after hours.

It is fairly exposed to weather from the northeast coming through the mouth of the Magothy.

Trade-off is easy access to both the Bay and Magothy river.

Good outboard mechanics on-site, decent store with a salvage department full of reclaimed stuff, decent launch ramp.

Reasonable prices seem to be on the lower end of the average for the area.
