Reviews for F. Grant Moore Municipal Marina
Easy access to Boyne City, 2016-07-12
Captain: , Sault Ste Marie, MI (240)

The entry to the marina is not marked; we were told to go past the floating docks protecting it and once we got close it became clear where we needed to go. There is adequate depth from any approach. We had to move to get a 50 amp power pedestal; most are just two 30 amp. The restrroms and showers were clean. One odd thing was there was no washing machine, but there was a dryer in the women's restroom. We were not able to find a laundromat anywhere in the city. There is a courtesy vehicle for travel to golf or pretty much anywhere else you want to go. Great staff. We arrived the last day of Boyne Thunder which is a noisy affair but they were all leaving so after Sunday it was quiet. Lots of restaurants and breweries in town. We enjoyed Friggy's that had a long list of canned beer for $2!

Attractive town, 2016-07-10

Nice marina with helpful staff. Town has good restaurants ( Cafe Sante) and interesting shops. Beautiful p,ants and flowers everywhere maintained by Boyne Valley Gardners Association. Can't comment on wind exposure as we were here on a calm evening.

Beautiful marina, nice location, 2015-08-06
Captain: , Hartland, WI (30)

Nice floating docks. Friendly staff, clean restrooms. Short walk to downtown. Lots of places to eat, music in the park on Wednesday night. Farmers market right next door on Wednesday morning. A real gem at the end of the lake.

First impressions, 2015-07-06
Captain: , Montague, MI (140)

We are presently here and it is a great little town. Docks are older and the bay is a bit unprotected but overall good, showers/ bathrooms could use a refresher but again not bad. Town has a lot of unique shops, restaurants and we even did a zip line tour at Wildwood Rush Canopy Tours! Great family stop!

Very clean and friendly, 2013-07-21
Captain: , Big Torch Key, FL (1956)

Very friendly and compentent staff will welcome you. Rest rooms and showers are extremely clean. Power is only one 30 amp cord per boat. Boats will bounce in a high west winds. Located at a City Park that is a great place to walk your pet.

Friendly folks, short walk to town, and easy to dock. If you stop in here, then you must visit the Red Mesa Grill which has excellent Mexican style foods.
