Reviews for El Milagro Marina
Great service and welcoming place, 2016-05-21
Captain: , Guatemala (246)

Stayed at El Milagro for a little over a week and enjoyed it very much. Upon arriving at Isla Mujeres our engine wouldn't start and we called the marina for help while being anchored outside the bay. Julio came out to tow us in.
The marina has many water toys and sometimes Eric takes you to nearby snorkeling areas. Facilities are clean and well maintained; they even have a movie theatre (A/C was being installed).

Layed back no pressure., 2016-05-20

Great place to stay or stop over everyone is very helpful and accomodating, spotless
If you can't reach them on channel 16 try 13 witch is the local cruisers net channel.

Great stay, 2016-03-08
Captain: , Bristol, RI (782)

We have been hee for just under a month and have a few weeks to go before moving on. The staff here are helpful and very friendly, showers and heads are good and grounds are well maintained. Docks are bow or stern too without fingers. Water is clean. There are areas for folks to meet and gather but few activities to encourage such get togethers. The location of the marina is perfect as it is 1/2 way between the "real area of the island" and the tourist overrun north. Price at this time was $1.00/foot, a little high given amenities. Nevertheless we recommend the facility and will stay again if we pass this way.

Dressy, A.C. marker on the wrong dock, 2015-02-18
Captain: , Fort Myers, FL (1220)

The A.C. marker for El Milagro is actually palced on the north dock of Marina Paraiso. Ele Milagro is the next dock north.

Facility is decorative, for whatever that might be worth. WHile we were there investigating it, there was a swinwear fashion shoot going on in the atrium.

Small, well sheltered pool. Small shopette on the premises.

A great place from which to explore Isla Mujeres, 2015-02-09
Captain: , Bochum (318)

Although the marina is not as cheap as some of the others on Isla, it's friendly staff, good ambience, clean showers and restrooms and other amenities make it well worth a visit. Jaime and Julio take good care of you, whether it be for checking in or preparing a B-B-Q for you and your friends. Eric is constantly adding to and improving the installations.
Situated half way between the Chedraui Supermarket and town it's easy to walk either way, bicicles are available for free in the marina, or you can take a cab for 15 pesos/person. Dinghys are also a good option to go to own or the beaches. The water is clean in this part of Isla letting you swim/snorkel on your boat without worries.
There is also a night guard in the marina, so security is not a problem.

El Milagro Marina, 2015-01-26
Captain: , New Bern, NC. (903)

On our way back from Rio Dulce, Guatemala we made a return stop at beautiful Isla Mujeres. Waiting for a cold front to pass and a weather window to cross the Gulf, we decided to check in and take a transit slip at El Milagro Marina for a couple of nights. Julio and staff was there to greet us and check us in.

We enjoyed our stay at the marina. Showers and bath rooms clean. Internet good.
Our previous stay at Isla Maujeres anchorage was ok but read the reviews, our anchor drug in strong winds after our review.

great service, 2014-09-14
Captain: , Puerto Juarez, Cancun. Q Roo (10)

Few weeks ago I went to the Island and just stop 8 hours by night at Marina El Milagro. The hospitality of Eric (the owner) and the rest of his team was great! They give us the same quality service as a long term rentals or as the big boats sleeping there. Great solid dock with hi tech power supply, fantastic location full of amenities and very nice accommodations including (very clean) mexican style apartments.

Overpriced, 2013-01-01
Captain: , Clearwater, FL (70)

Early in 2012 the first month was $550.00 US and then $600.00 US for every month afterwards. Now the rate s $800.00 US/month and the docks and pilings are as bad as always. Eric has/s building new apartments but wants marina guests to pay for his improvements. Stll no pool, no bar, no restaurant. Stay at Marina Paraisio next door for $675.00/month (long term) and get what el Milaro isn't providing for less money.

All is not well at Milagros, 2011-08-03
Captain: , Humber, UK (30)

Stopped by Milagros Aug 2011, And was sorry to see a nice small marina under lock and key with security guards asking who I was and what did I want?
I later found out that all is not well at the Marina however it is still open for business but it's not the peaceful paradise I remember.
I hope there problems are only temporary and wish them luck in the future.

Great staff, 2011-07-29
Captain: , New Orleans, LA (65)

Jamie and Julio are great, make you feel right at home and assist in any way they can!

Great Staff, Great prices, 2011-07-23
Captain: , Savannah, GA (116)

Stern or bow in slips, no side ties available. A little rocky as wakes from passing boats rock the marina but calm at night. All marina's along here have that issue. Good solid dock, good power and great water pressure. Its the staff that makes the difference, these people are great. They can arrange everything you need for clearance into the country as well as put a party together for you. I wouldn't consider staying at another marina while in Isla.
