Reviews for Egg Harbor Marina
Enjoyed the town and marina, 2016-06-15
Captain: , Huntington Harbour, CA (317)

As others have said, this is a nice protected marina with nice staff. Rates for 2016 are $2.00 per foot plus tax. In town we found a great cheese store (at the top of the street to the left) and the Main Street Market has lots of specialty items as well as the basics (eggs were $5.99 a dozen, but other items seemed more reasonable.

Nice Door Co Marina, 2015-09-08
Captain: , Milwaukee, WI (358)

Generally we were happy with our stay in Egg Harbor. Well protected, floating docks. Close to town, with several good restaurants, and shops including groceries a close walk away. Friendly staff, too. Only one washer/dryer pair, but I didn't need to wait for laundry even on a very busy holiday weekend. Expensive, but typical of the Door Peninsula.

However, as noted in previous reviews, they allow public access for fishing all over the marina. We had several people fishing less than 5 feet from our boat. We also noticed a few stray fishing lines and floats in the water, and one stray hook lying on the dock got stuck in a neighbor's shoe. Definitely a safety issue, and the lack of security was a little creepy. Otherwise, four stars.

Great stop over, 2014-08-22
Captain: , Grand Haven, MI (674)

Called in the morning from Sturgeon Bay and said we were waiting for the fog to lift. No Problem they were full but if we didn't mind we could tie up on the Gas Dock. Diesel fuel $3.64 a gallon, worth the stop just to top off tanks.
Attendants are not allowed on the boats so pump out and fuel are handled by the boat owner, not so bad.
Facility almost new and very nice. When they say the store is close they are correct but need to mention that it's up a steep hill that can give legs a real workout both coming and going.
Tax of 5.5% is added to the cost of the slip so expect the net charge to be higher than you figure.
Quite a few resturants are close and the climb up the hill will make you hungry.
Received a complimentary bag of ice upon check in. All in all very accomodating, and plesant stay.
Just a note the Guide book that I have is older 2009. It stated that they did not take reservations and did a call in first come first serve basis. They do take reservations and its a small marina and fills up fast.

Like new facility, clean and friendly, 2014-08-13
Captain: , Dunedin, FL (6484)

Dock staff helpful in getting us in to alongside wall. All new facility 2010, so everything up to date. Well maintained, very clean. Only a single washer / dryer, but marina seems to cater to season slip holders, not transients. Well protected behind breakwater, kept the worse of 30 mph winds and 4 ft. waves out of the marina. Close to town with many restaurants, shops, post office, grocery store with wine, liquor, beer.

nice town & marina, 2014-08-06
Captain: , Penetang (94)

kids at marina not helpfull dont really know what there doing
great fuel prices
will not be back they allow fishing on docks so fisherman will be behind you infront ,beside you, do they not realise what happens to fishing line wrapped around props / shafts.
you also have to fuel and pump out yourself.
no one to assit at fuel dock(yes there was a kid who just stood and watched) and at our slip no assittance the other three kids to busy
in office talking. when I went to talk to them about my concerns one employee was very combative and said if you dont like it you can have a refund and go to another harbor.

Fish off outer break wall!, 2014-08-06
Captain: , Charlevoix (10)

Ditto on the fishing on the docks right off your swim platform, ridiculous. I will go back as we like the town, great tapas restaurant, Papadeurs (sp?) but will be very specific about slip.

Friendly, helpful staff, 2013-07-10
Captain: , St. Paul,MN (55)

small marina, a little tight getting in and out. Cute town, one day was enough to see everything. Easy to walk the entire town.

Autumn in Egg Harbor Marina, 2012-10-04
Captain: , Green Bay, WI (400)

Excellent docking assistance. Lots of slips open last week of Sept to Oct 20. Great time in town.

Nice Stay neat town, 2011-09-03
Captain: , Red Wing, MN (384)

Great staff and nice new docks through the marina. Short hike up the hill to lots of shopping and eating choices, good grocery close to marina too. View of sunset from Harbor View Park is awesome!

The New Egg Harbor, 2010-09-15
Captain: , Holland, MI (117)

The new Egg Harbor Marina which had it's grand opening in September of 2010 is outstanding! A well-protected and much larger facility will greet those accustomed to the old. All new floating docks with electricity, water, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi have been added, Although still not a large facility the dock space has been I believe tripled. Phone ahead as space is still at a premium: especially during holidays. The fine staff is extremely professional and courteous. Steve and Niccole will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.

Great new marina just completed, 2010-08-09
Captain: , Milwaukee Yacht Club (90)

We spent one night at Egg Harbor marina. They were just finishing construction and the place looks great. Floating docks, attentive staff and an easy walk up the hill to restaurants etc. The bathrooms were adequate but not as nice as the rest of the marina.

Egg Harbor NO MORE!!!!!, 2009-06-02
Captain: , Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin (324)

The Egg Harbor Village Board voted to begin the process of demolishing the breakwater at the village marina and not rebuild. So No Marina. The harbor is gone....
