Reviews for Edgewater Yacht Club
Top notch yacht club and marina, 2016-01-06
Captain: , Madeline Island (140)

In cruising from Lake Superior to Lake Ontario, this was one of my favorite stops. The access was straight-forward, the channels were deep (all the way back to the fuel dock), and their 2 nights for the price of one deal was an excellent value. Fuel dock service and diesel price were excellent, the staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. The overnight deal even included a free "welcome appetizer" in the beautiful restaurant/bar, where I made fast friends with the active marina members. And plenty of clean, hot showers in the clubhouse.

Great Marina, 2015-07-14
Captain: , lake erie (136)

Dockage is Very reasonable as is food at the yacht club resturant and priced inexpensively. there are also laundry facilities here and they have a professional staff at the marina and resturant.
New pricing for dockage, $1 a ft-buy one day get one free!
Bar is very reasonable also!
Make this a destination.

Great Club, 2014-09-06
Captain: , CURTICE (171)

We stayed 2 days here in 2014. Friendly helpful staff, good docks, with water and electric. Very nice club house, dining room, bar, and pool. Restaurant food was good and reasonably priced, also on race/event nights snack food available.

Quite a long way out from town, and no grocery/shopping within walking distance.

Wi-Fi worked closer in to the club house but not so well at the end of the docks. Club house closes at midnight, but there are showers and toilets open 24/7 by the pool.

Defiantly a place to stop and relax a few days on the way up or down the lake. $1/ft with second night free if you are an affiliated YC. Pump Out is free. This was our second visit

Good overnight stop, 2014-06-27
Captain: , Sandusky, Ohio (392)

Friendly, curteous staff. Club is celebrating it's centenial. Very nice club house, dining room, bar, and pool with a bar. Gas and diesel both $5.19 / gal. Located next to Edgewater Park. Plenty of room to roam or swim in the lake. Highway and train noise not an issue with us. Didn't plan on going downtown, so can't say how expensive a cab would be. I would have given them 5 stars but 1) the wifi would not work despite a strong signal, and 2) the club house is closed from midnight to 0800. Showers and toilets are in the club house. Not convenient if you want an early departure.

Great Place, 2013-08-20
Captain: , Anchor Point (17)

Our stay here was great. Nice facilities, good docks, helpful staff, the restaurant had good food. Pump out was free and well done. The club was active into sailing and it was good to see the participation of the members.

Edgewater Yacht Club, 2012-06-29
Captain: , Michigan City (349)

A very friendly yacht club and very reasonable. We had some trouble contacting the dockmaster and locals directed us to the proper dock. We were greeted by yacht club members who were having a function and asked us to join them for food and drinks. Slip fees are $1.00 per foot and 2nd night was free. Reciprocity at yacht club but discounts only for Interlake Members. Some road, train and airport noise but minimal. Taxi service to downtown if needed.

Edgewater Yacht Club, 2011-02-07
Captain: , St. Augustine Conch House Marina (75)

EYC is a friendly club with a great racing program. Restaurant and bar are very nice. Dockage is protected as other reveiw stated but there is a surge and boats need to be secured well in high winds.

Edgewater Yatch Club, 2009-09-11
Captain: , Whitehall, Mi (1754)

Nice facilities well protected. There is a nice park adjacent, but not a whole lot else.

$1/ft for regular folks. There may be yatch club reciprical privileges.
