Reviews for Eau Gallie Boat Works - Closed
Yard closing in few weeks, 2016-05-13
Captain: , Beaufort, NC (173)

Spoke to a gentleman by phone who said the yard will be closed in a few weeks after 5/12/16. Unknown if it will reopen.

Closed for now, 2014-01-15
Captain: , Savannah, GA (76)

This facility has been bought by the adjacent marina and it is unclear if it will continue to be a boat works. The current facility is closed.

Life Savers, 2013-02-13
Captain: , Sandusky, OH (284)

We were overheating just opposite the Eau Gallie River inlet. We called the boat works and Kendra told us they were full up but would put us in the well. Tim diagnosed the problem the next morning in 5 minutes and by afternoon the offending part was replaced and we were good to go. The price was fair and the work was exceptional plus, no charge for docking two nights. We were very lucky to break down near their place.

Family Owned - Great people - friendly too, 2012-01-29
Captain: , Lewes, DE (75)

This is my local family owned full-service boatyard that keeps my tugboat running. Come to them or they will come to you. Tim is an excellent diesel tech.

Outstanding!!!!, 2011-10-02
Captain: , Lexington, Kentucky (160)

We were having some problems with what turned out to be corrosion on our shaft. A number of different boatyards had failed to identify the source of our problem. Larry did. He installed a new (and proper) shaft in record time. And, he had he retained the old shaft for us while we negotiated a settlement with all those involved.

Emergency service, 2009-11-30
Captain: , Here and There (443)

After coming in from a rough offshore passage in our recently acquired Valiant 40, we began having fuel starvation problems from the gardens growing in our fuel tanks. Fortunately, Eau Gallie Boatworks was close at hand. Though they were already backed up with work, Larry and Paul jumped right on our problems, cleaning our fuel and tanks, and repairing a mainsail track as quickly as we could hope for. We were once again on our way, and at reasonable cost.

Bottom Paint and Minor boat work, 2008-06-05

Outstanding workmanship and a very fair price.
