Reviews for Eastport Marina
Good Marina, 2016-10-15
Captain: , North Point Marina (40)

Great restaraunt next door, nice docks and a nice bar/restaraunt. Least exspensive diesel on the Illinios

Good stop if water level is above flat pool, 2016-08-02
Captain: , Naples, FL (682)

We checked with marina manager and on to make sure water level was at least at flat pool to allow our 4ft draft trawler to enter safely. With water level 0.25ft below flat pool we had 5ft in the channel but only just over 4ft in our assigned slip. Water levels were continuing to drop overnight and in the following few days to allow the wickets at Peoria Lock to be raised so we had to be out of the marina early the next day to avoid being stuck for four days. This was one of the few times that bobbing and rolling with the occasional wake was a good thing as it reassured me we were still afloat.
Still, it was a good stop with floating docks, good heads/showers and washers/driers and nearby restaurants. Wifi worked well and the resident boaters were very friendly and helpful.

good stop after a long day, 2016-07-25
Captain: , Louisiana, Mo. (180)

We chose this because it's the 1st stop for diesel coming up the river from Grafton a 164 mile trip. I used Active Captain and the Quimby's guide, I no long believe everything in Quimby's because the pool listed is the city pool across the street and not available to transients. The price for diesel was $2.79 a gallon, checked another price at a Marina farther up and it was $3.59. They lost a star for putting us in a slip with a narrow fairway with a very stiff wind out of the southwest that was blowing against out SB bow, it was just trickier than necessary getting into this slip when others not constrained by the shorter dock across from us were empty. We draft 3'5" and always saw 2' to 3' under the hull thru the entrance. I will probably stay here on our return trip to Lake Michigan, but will want a different slip.

under new management and depth significantly improved, 2013-04-26
Captain: , Louisville KY (387)

Approach along the clearly marked channel (Red on portside when entering with white on starboard). The marina dredges EVERY day. They mud is trucked out. The personnel were friendly and answered our hail on channel 16. THe water is deep enough that when we were there a 46' Hattaras had sank in a slip and only about 3' was showing. No charge for pumpout with fuel purchase.

Great Place to Stop and Eat, 2012-09-17
Captain: , Peoria, IL (310)

Depending on the river level, you should have 2 - 3 ft. to enter.

Nice facilities and a couple of great restaurants. The Galley restaruant is a maritime them restaruant and bar with good food and moderate prices. Jonah's reaturant is a higher end restaruant with an oyster bar.

There is also a convenience store with the usual staples you may need.

Warning.. at current levels can't enter, 2010-09-27
Captain: , St. Louis, MO (778)

I draw 3' 8" at pool level 11.8 no way you can get in. They're running boat HVAC on city water the harbor is that shallow. No answer on Ch16, no answer on phone.

Eastport Marina, 2009-09-16
Captain: , Howard Prairie (500)

Nice Marina with access to a few restaraunts for dinner. Limited approach depth, we saw just under three feet on the way in and had heard the marina had been in the mud this summer when the corp of engineers where working on wickets down river

new marina, 2008-07-21
Captain: , Key Largo (5304)

Floating docks, with electric and water, some bars nearby, full services. Not expensive laundry

East Port, 2008-01-23

Nice Stop
