Reviews for The Ways Boatyard, LLC
Excellent Service, People & Contractors, 2016-04-16

3 times now and always happy with my results. Clean and well managed by Chris, its owner and Staff. All great to work with....very service minded...always ready to help in any way.

One of the best Yards in north PB county, 2014-06-11
Captain: , north palm beach fl (10)

We were in the yard for over a month, new generator and soda blasted the bottom, with a new complete bottom job,. The bottom was done by the yard and the blasting was sub contracted., all the workers and work performed by the Ways was done in a timely manor and was completed in above new condition., This yard will let you work on your own vessel at any hour., The yard is safe and secure.

Friendly and Knowledgeable, 2014-05-29

Originally recommended by a friend two years ago. Now I bring my 58' Hatteras there whenever I need good, quality work at a fair price. Nice to know there are still honest people out there who keep their word

Great place to have work done or DIY, 2013-04-10

After a 30 hour trip from Bahamas our batteries died. Chris arranged for us to get new batteries from Treasure Coast batteries. This yard is very service oriented. I highly recommended them.

Boater beware.... Some good and some bad experiences, 2013-03-06
Captain: , Key Largo (392)

I had originally reviewed E & H Boat Works (aka The Ways) much higher, however I feel compelled to rewrite the review based on new information and experiencse

We've used E & H several times over the years and had found the owner (Chris) and the crew to be very courteous and competent. The boat yard is fairly well maintained and their rates are reasonable.

We had used a vendor that Chris recommended for various boat work and after having some VERY SERIOUS work quality, performance issues with them we started to do a bit more digging. On investigation I found that the vendor that was specifically recommended by E & H was unlicensed, uninsured.

This is a big deal to us and we are VERY DISAPPOINTED that E & H would do business this way. They clearly put vendors first and customers second based on my experience and interactions with them.

We won't be back and will use Seminole or Cracker Boy instead.

Dinged my prop at Peanut Island, and had a leaking Prop Log. They stayed open late to haul me out and help to get me going%u2026
