Dockside Closed due to fire, 2015-12-28
Captain: , Beaufort, SC (11)

This D NG55WPOHJockside locaiton has been closed due to a fire in the adjacent building. As of now, there is no intent to reopen at this location. The docks may still be available but I am not sure of that.
There is a Dockside Restaurant (run by same people) in Beaufort, just north of the Lady's Island Swing Bridge at the Lady's Island Marina.

Outstanding Food, 2015-03-18
Captain: , Hampton, VA (30)

We ate here twice and loved it both times. We had six people in our party and everyone had an outstanding meal. They are busy, but have a large facility and seem to move people in fairly quickly. It is an easy walk from Port Royal Landing Marina and well worth the walk. The scallops and baked grouper were outstanding.

We had a great meal here--raw oysters, fried shrimp and scallops and of shrimp & grits. The cornbread is deliciious. We arrived late and were welcome to stay overnight because it was not busy. No problem docking.

Good food and excellent service. We had steamed shrimp and scored/pan fried flounder, both of which were delicious. Two entrees
were enough for 3 people. Will definitely go back.

Best Low Counrtry Seafood I've we've ever had, 2011-07-11

This is now our favorite fried low country style seafood we've ever tasted. The fry chef is a master!

Not Local Sea food, 2011-04-21
Captain: , Beaufort SC (273)

I think for the money, its well prepared seafood with a great view. I was a little disheartened to find out their seafood was imported from overseas and not local. With the seafood docks right on the same site it%u2019s a bit deceptive. It was one of the nicest sunsets views I have ever say and the service was better than most. The restraint had a smell of vinegar and dampness. But later it either went away or I got use to it. I will go back%u2026 I will mention to people who ask, the seafood is not local, but worth the money.
Cheers, Curtis.

Good food, 2011-03-13

One of the best places in the area for fresh seafood. Curtesy docks are rough and heavy currect.

Friendly folks. Good place to stop for a drink or some pretty good seafood. Tie up at inner dock.

Dockside Restuarant, 2007-06-07
Captain: , Beaufort, SC (35)

This is obviously not a marina, although they do have a dock which can be used while you dine. If it is a slow night, they may let you stay tied up, although you will have no utilities.
The outer dock is a fixed dock used by local shrimpers. Use the inner floating dock for the restuarant. Lots of current when the tide is running.
Good anchorages all along Battery Creek.
