Great No Frills Marina, 2013-07-01
Captain: , St. Teresa, FL (60)

It's not really a marina, just a few large slips run by a great guy and his wife. There is no marina store or facilities to speak of, but if all you need is a nice, inexpensive slip in a good location, this is it.

Best Kept Secret in Clearwater Area, 2013-03-30
Captain: , Gulfport, MS (321)

Stayed 4 nites after crossing from Carrabelle. Great choice - best price in the area, easy access to Publix (by trolley or dinghy) and other attractions, and the harbormaster and his wife, Jeff and Dee, are great people who make you and your pets feel right at home. Deep water access - we had no trouble getting our 48.5'/6' draft sailboat into marina. Despite an earlier report of electrical problems, we found no issues. If you are looking for glitz and glamour, this is not the place. On the otherhand, if you are looking for a decent, somewhat laid-back marina from which to rest, recuperate, and use as a base of operations to see local sights, you could not make a better choice. As a bonus, Jeff is very knowledgeable about cruising the areas south of Clearwater, and can be a very valuable asset for your trip planning. We would stay again in the future; just wish there were more like it on the way south.

Best option for Clearwater Beach area, 2013-02-01
Captain: , Bohemia River, Md (184)

We stayed here for 3 nites to ride out a big wind, and visit with friends. This marina is quiet, the dockmaster and wife are great, very helpful! Within walking distance to convenience stores and great restaurants, and the beach! You can dink to Publix.....We checked out the City Marina, and glad we didn't go there....smells like fish with all the commercial traffic, and too many people milling around, not to mention it's more expensive! I would stay here at Dockside again!!

Electrical issues, 2012-09-20
Captain: , Tampa (93)

Our second visit in the last year, couldn't have been happier with overall service. However, the 50A service kept dropping below 200V and we wound up running generator after discovering problem. Burned up an AC unit as a function of weak/low power.....

Great Marina to get some rest after crossing from Panama City, 2012-05-29
Captain: , Ft. Lauderdale (132)

We arrived to this quiet marina from Panama City on 5-23-2012, it was a long trip, but we where wonderfully received by very nice people. Thanks to them we manage we had a great stay on their premises.
Great restaurant a close walk from the marinal, Frenchy's.

Great Marina, 2011-05-14
Captain: , Ozona (20)

Best marina in Cleawater Beach.
One of the cheapest marinas in the area too.
Walking distance to restaurants, bars, Walgreens, Hess gas station.
Pool was really nice too.
Great dock master. They were very helpful and friendly, He and his wife will meet you as you come in and help with the tie up - they made me look good coming in.
