Reviews for Dock Street Marina
Museum Visit Stop, 2016-09-14
Captain: , Summerlin, NV (350)

Two combined unisex restroom/shower rooms. Clean, wide docks were most easy to walk on, trains not an issue (no horns). Only drawback was no Wifi signal, but being near the museums and town was our focus so lack of access wasn't a big issue. Great staff and happy to assist with docking if requested.

easy access to down town, 2015-06-26

New clean and easy access to down town.

Nice place to visit, 2015-03-16

A quick overnite stop here on a Sunday night; wide open guest moorage. The staff told me that this marina is now owned by Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle, another top notch facility. Be aware of unpredictable currents when docking.

Top notch marina, 2014-07-26
Captain: , Coconut Grove, FL (589)

Craig Perry and his crew do a great job.
Trains not blowing horns while we stopped there on several occasions.
Walk to Washington History Museum and Museum of Glass. Hop the free trolley to Lemay Auto Museum.
Great restaurants within a walk.

Great place to stop, hard to sleep, 2014-03-29
Captain: , everett, wa (275)

Thsi could easily have been our favorite marina with exception of the train whistle all night. It's right near the tracks and the trains announce their approach all night long. If you aren't a light sleeper, I'd recommend it highly. Friendly staff, absolutly clean showers, restrooms and laundry.

Top notch!, 2013-11-05
Captain: , Cruising (3259)

This is a beautiful facility with an excellent staff. Very helpful and friendly, and they even delivered a Sunday newspaper! You can't beat the location - so convenient to the museums and restaurants across the Bridge of Glass. Big slips and good 50A power.

Great Marina, 2013-06-08
Captain: , Orting, WA (150)

We were moored here for a couple years. Great folks. On a busy weekend, call ahead and they keep a list of vacant slips they will rent out, full power, water, cable.

Exceeded expectations, 2011-04-01

We spent a great weekend here, docked right in front of the Museum of Glass. Friendly marina staff. We had a nice dinner on the terrace of one of the waterfront restaraunts... sorry, but the name escapes me. We'll be back.

Great docks and fine location, 2009-10-12
Captain: , Seattle (250)

Nestled in the southern end of Thea Foss Waterway, Dock Street Marina is an outstanding facility. Spacious slips, wide docks, water, power, and cable, clean facilities, and reasonable pumpouts at your slip.

The staff is pleasant and proactive, even delivered a Sunday paper to the cockpit. Location is great, with the Museum of Glass right at the top of the ramp. Great food and happy hour at Woody's. Fresh seafood a short walk up to Johnny's, and plenty of choices for food, coffee, books right across the Bridge of Glass on Pacific Avenue (not to mention the Washington State History Museum and Tacoma Art Museum.

And, for those who can use it, there's a great ramp just 5 miles north at Pt. Defiance ferry dock.

Great Docks, 2009-04-11
Captain: , Paradise Valley, AZ (572)

the docks are new, easily accessed and excellent. Adjacent to the Museum of Glass. Don't miss the museum hot shop where glass blowing exhibitions take place. We spent 4 hours watching glass blowing. Eat across the Bridge of Glass to 1938 Pacific Avenue at Harmon's Pub. This local pub and brewery features seafood and Northwest cuisine. Good food, good beer.
