Great place with good food, drink, and a great atmosphere. A fun place. Dinghy tie-up space is located around back (shore side of the building).

Good alternativ to Nanaimo, 2015-09-16
Captain: , Pender Harbour, BC (411)

We dropped in for lunch, had a few drinks, and decided to stay for dinner! One moorage spot accomodation for 50', and we got it! Will stay overnight (no power, but it's FREE). Food is good, a little smaller selection out of season, but daily specials are worth looking into.

Amazing floating pub, 2015-07-14

increadable stopover. good food and a great staff. Tuesdays they host Live Music. up to 50' at the dock, and a good anchorage near by.
In heavy winds, the staff met us at the dock, took our order before the kitchen closed and assisted us with our lines to help us dock late in the evening. Washrooms and pay showers wile the pub is open. family friendly!

Good Fiood, Good Service, 2013-04-02
Captain: , Swalwell (228)

It is a pub on a dock. Fish and chips were great, prices moderate. Good ambience.

Free overnight docking, 2012-09-22

Good dinner and free overnight docking for our 43' sailboat late August

Fun Stop on a hot day, 2012-08-19
Captain: , des moines (104)

Food was average and kids meals were a bit expensive at $9 but there was a lot of food for them at that and the fudgesickle/creamsickle is included and guaranteed to melt all over the dingy as you go back to the boat.

Beer specials were good and overall not a bad experience. I would not make the stop every time in Nanaimo but would go again.

Dinghy Dock Experience, 2011-03-12
Captain: , Sidney BC (582)

Great place to go for lunch or dinner. Have often met people here (they used the ferry to come over and we have come for our boat anchored at or tied up at Newcastle Island. Food is good in my opinion and good value for the money. We love the atmosphere, if you are a boater you will like the marine theme.

Dinghy Dock Pub and Restaurant, 2011-01-26
Captain: , Anacortes, WA (282)

This is a fun spot for a sunny lunch, a few beers or a casual dinner. A small passenger-onlt ferry runs from the Port of Nanaimo marina about every half-hour.
The food is typical--burgers, fish and chips, etc. and "average" quality. Prices are average. The setting, however, is outstanding. If it is sunny and warm, ask for a table on the deck. Very enjoyable for those times when the Commodore refuses to cook.

Fun ride to Protection Island, 2010-12-24
Captain: , Sequim, WA (676)

The ferry ride to the Pub is part of the fun (like the bus at Montague) Average food but a fun stop for a group.
