Reviews for Delray Beach Municipal Marina
No call back, 2016-05-09

Have repeatedly called the phone number of this municipal marina requesting info on transient dockage or whether there might be a place to dock for the day while visiting this town. They do not respond. Whats up?

Great (lucky) stop over, 2014-09-11
Captain: , Southport, NC (706)

Most of these boats are long term. The only way I lucked out getting a slip for one night was someone had their boat out of thier normal spot. I called a person on the phone at the city office. Nobody is on-site. We had to tie up ourselves, pumpout and untie ourselves. I called in a VISA card number to pay since we came in at closing hours. I didnt go into the bathrooms but they looked nice from the outside. It was very quite and still which made for good sleeping. Over all a great Value.

Great location, great people, 2014-07-15

We moved our boat from the Sands in Pompano Beach where the night before the boat had been robbed and a couple of thousand dollars in stuff was stolen.
The city maintains this dock and it is not really a "Marina" except that several boats are docked there. It is located along a city street with no security, dock carts or dock hands. What it is, is a great place with pumpouts at every dock, a great price and friendly people. The dock office is a car ride away at the parks and recreation building several miles away.
It is reasonably priced for what it is with a great view of the boats going by and tons of great restaurants within walking distance.
the Problem is.... slips are few and far between as people can rent monthly and liveaboard. We were lucky. I space available.
If there is one there, I would recommend staying here while in delray beach.

Convenient and reasonable, 2013-11-12

Right off ICW but no problen with wakes. Clean facilities, with power, pump out at each slip, and ice machine all included in transient rate. Very convenient and comfortable stop.

A Welcome Rest, 2013-07-31

A short walk to the beach, BurgerFi for dinner, and back. Yes, the slip is directly on the ICW, but traffic slows after dark. I paid $2 per foot, which includes power, water, complimentary ice, a laundry room, and pumpout. I'll be back.

Great Stop Over, 2013-04-23

Very busy live-aboard marina with a few transient slip in the center of Delray. Staff are helpfull. The facility is dated and very evident of the live -aboards with plants ands towels everywhere. On site bathrooms get alot of use and should be avoided!

Great Place, 2012-01-28
Captain: , Cleveland (2062)

There was only 1 transient dock when we were there on 1/27/12. Called in the morning and had to give credit card to pay for the slip so be sure you want to stay! Many slips are liveaboards. They helped us into our dock - very friendly folks. Many great restaurants a relatively short walk away in downtown Delrey Beach. Although this is directly on the ICW, it is across from a large marina as well as near a bridge. Result was the wakes were slight.

RR were available but we did not use them so cannot comment on the condition of them. Will stop there again.

Great location!, 2010-10-25

5 star location in downtown Delray. Easy walk to great restaurants, bars, beach and shops. Ace Hardware short walk. West Marine, Publix, Target, Home Depot all short cab ride.

Very few transient slips in early. Managed through city offices with no marina store/office on site.

Fixed pier slips directly on ICW. A six foot keel will settle in the mud at low tide.
