Reviews for Delamar Greenwich Harbor
They're not interested in you unless you are over 100', 2012-07-17

Called the hotel four times on a sunday to get reservations. After 5 hours, finally got a call back and said to come in. When we arrived, we were told they didnt have space for us (52 and a 62' boats) becuase they wanted to take a mega yacht in... so at 5:00 on a Sunday we were told to go away, even though there was about 200' of dock space. We went across the channel and got slips for less than 1/2 the price at Delamar.

My wife and daughter loves the shopping which starts within 500 feet of the marina. Even though it's an up hill walk, they covered 15 blocks in no time just window shopping.

The main street is immaculate, it just yells money. Brooks Brothers, etc. etc.

Marina staff, for example Chris, was over the top helpful and thoughtful about everything. Even offered a flattering comment about my docking skills intentionally in ear shot of my guests. As part of the marina service they have a limo at your disposal if you need a ride anywhere nearby. (like to the top of the hill, and walk down).

Five attempts to make reservations during the summer 2007 season met with dissapointment, I didn't get in until mid October ! Their average customer is similiar to the boat docked next to mine, 90 feet long and sporting on their top deck a fleet of three water craft and a golf cart, with crane at the ready to lower any of them to the dock ... and all the ammenities to plan weeks in advance where they want to go no matter the weather.

We didn't stay long enough to check out the facility entirely, but clearly it's operated in a first class manner all the way around.

... and Thanks Chris for the kind words about my docking !

Hotel is 5 stars though!!, 2007-06-28

Your about a 1/4 mile from shopping.. Two blocks up in shopping area is a small store called Ave News.. They cell, mile, eggs, etc..

The restaurant is 5 star caliber, and the waiters have thick French accents. Big boats will surround you, and be prepared for the 5 dollar a foot rate. It's a nice stop if you really want to stop at a nice hotel, with a pretty good location. Floating dock that has some wind protection, wake protection excellent with the exception of a fairy that seems to be really nice about not waking you.
