Reviews for Deep Creek Restaurant and Marina
Dated appearance but great food, 2016-07-04
Captain: , Washington,DC (83)

The dock is in fairly poor condition - a few larger slips on the outside and numerous smaller ones on inside where shallow - but fine for outboards. The interior of the restaurant was typical rugged Maryland crab shack-ish but the food was much better than the building appearance. The cream of crab soup was one of the best I've ever had. We had crab bruschetta, crab cake sandwich, mini sliders, seared ahi tuna and fried oyster po boy. All of the dishes were something I would recommend. A peaceful retreat on Deep Creek!

Deep Creek Restaurant, 2016-06-13
Captain: , Annapolis (442)

Had dinner and a lunch there. Dinner was OK Filet Milano. Liunch was Cuban Sandwich (excellent). Drinks are good and clientelle seemed to be local. Friendly staff, albeit a bit inattentive on Friday.
Overall experience was fair +. Would go again
Docks are bit run down, and no real place for dinghy's, but manageable. They do have ABC off sales.

food its ok nothing great, 2015-06-15
Captain: , Newport, RI (190)

Food is ok not great. Pleace is kinda of dirty (carpet).

Great Food and Free Dock in November, 2013-11-17
Captain: , Portsmouth, NH (90)

We saw at least 7 feet all the way into this place at mid tide and 5 feet at low tide at the dock. While the docks have clearly been neglected, they are servicable and how can you go wrong with free dockage with dinner, wifi, water, and electric. Indeed, the restaurant was very good and the crab cakes are awesome. Overall a real treat in a populated but quiet creek in November.

always a dependable good meal, 2013-08-16
Captain: , ANNAPOLIS (60)

Great local seafood restaurant. Seafood is always fresh and well prepared. Nice bar and local flavor. Been coming here since it was Capt. Clyde's (too many years ago). Docking is on your own - first come first served. Some weekends you are out of luck for docking.

Good Food, Shallow Channel, 2012-08-22
Captain: , Annapolis (105)

I've gone here a couple of times and everybody has always liked the food. I've also never had trouble getting a slip during the meal. The slips are supposed to be 6 feet, but parts of Deep Creek are less. Approach carefully. Look for sailboats in marinas on each side to get an idea of which side to stay on. There are no dockhands and the slips are tricky, so be ready with the fenders and lines.

NOT SUITABLE FOR LARGER VESSELS, 2012-08-06
Captain: , YORKTOWN, VA (293)

wOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR VESSELS MORE THAN 40 FT, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE OWNER SAYS. THEY NOW CHARGE $2 A FOOT FOR OVERNIGHT DOCKAGE

Good food well prepared but definitely not a fancy place, 2012-06-06
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale (1288)

This is your typical neighborhood restaurant but with a difference: it's on the waterfront, has free slips if you have dinner, and the food and service are terrific. We went in with a group of about a half dozen boats and filled the slips at the rickety pier. But the terrific food and service in a restaurant of this nature were a nice surprise. Try the crab cakes or the oyster stew--both were wonderful.

Sunday Brunch, 2011-03-20
Captain: , Magothy River, Md (23)

The Sunday Brunch is an excellent value and lots of good food. Slips are available and free overnight with a meal. Usually pretty crowded on a Sunday morning, but the buffet is worth the wait.

Great Food at a Good Deal, 2010-10-03
Captain: , West River, MD (50)

We stayed there on a windy Tuesday evening. We ate the daily special, Crab Cakes ($20). They were excellent! I would go again. The slip we selected, the far end with a finger pier was a bit shaky, the gas dock looked much better. Overnight is FREE if you eat dinner, this adds to the overall deal.

Worthy destination, 2010-01-12
Captain: , Albemarle Plantation, NC (389)

Very comfortable, and pretty good local restaurant with some transient dock space. Easy access near mouth of Magothy. Definitely not a cookie-cutter from logo-land.

Excellent Food, 2009-10-29
Captain: , New Bern, NC (73)

We had a vehicle and our boat. These were the best crab cakes and crab imperial we had in the area.

Good food, 2008-06-18
Captain: , Annapolis, Maryland (1)

This is a great place to go for local seafood and FREE dockage for the night.

For the cost of dinner they give you a slip - not a bad deal.
