Reviews for Dania Beach Marina
Dania beach Marina, 2016-07-23
Captain: , Texas (10)

nice transient dock. Restaurant is "touristy".

Please observe no wake. We live here.

don't depend on wifi, 2016-07-21
Captain: , Miami (10)

Wifi works sometimes, but when it does ,it is slow, sometimes so slow most web pages won't load.
All cellular companies have weak signals here, but most will barely work.verizon seems to be best here.

Nice new facilities for long term in-water storage but,, 2015-12-26
Captain: , Englewood, FL - Winter, Cape May, NJ -Summer (931)

Pro - Everything is new and clean.
Con - No store, no services, no help, no one answers a radio, not really set up for transients like a traditional marina. The transient dock is "G" dock, but thats as far as the labeling goes. I set up a reservation with a nice lady on the phone for the next day. Took loads of info over the phone and said to tie up to "any open spot on G dock". When I got there after lunchtime, there was no one around. I asked a dock resident who do you see about check-in, he said "you're expecting too much". Apparently the nice lady did not give any of my information to the dockmaster so we had to start over. The dockmaster was expecting to put another boat (which never did show up) where I was docked. There is a $20 deposit required for a pass key card to to use the showers/laundry etc. but no way to get your deposit back without waiting for staff to show up. BTW, G dock gate is always wide open to the public. The rest of the marina locks down with the key card.
Very good dinner across the road at Quarterdeck (sports bar).

Nice marina, but that bridge!, 2015-06-23
Captain: , currently Plantation Yacht Harbor, Islamorada, Fla. Keys (4419)

Nice facility in excellent location near the inlet and on the beach. But, the bridge is a problem. Larger boats in the marina - 55' max length - need to lower masthead lights, even take covers of SAT domes, and then wait for low tide. Even then, bare clearance means that once you're out, there's no return until the next low. Would be at 4 stars w/o the bridge.

Convenient and comfortable, 2015-02-28
Captain: , Wilmington, DE (216)

The renovation is complete. All new floating docks with power, water and pumpout at each dock. The facilities are modern and convenient. Close to the beach (A one minute walk) with several restaurants within walking/biking distance.
Wifi is available, but no cable hookup.

The entrance is guarded by a fixed 17-20' fixed bridge. Bridge clearance physically measured by drop line. Plenty of water for 5+ draft vessels under the bridge.

Checked marina out on my bike ride, 2015-01-29
Captain: , Chicago, Racine, Fish Creek,Wi (2010)

I am staying in another marina not far from here, so wanted to check this one out for possible future stay. All new and renovated. Laundry, showers, and rest room all new. Gated access to docks with resturant near and beach right next to marina. Transient rate $1.50' 30' minimum winter, summer $1' Electric$11 /30 amp,$16/ 50A. Rates month to month $900 winter, $825 summer for any size boat. Electric metered for monthly. Floating concrete docks, Picnic pavilion. Only concern is getting under bridge . Chart says 18' but was told it was thought it was more like 20' ish and depth was also told was about 6' ish. I can not confirm this but I believe it to be close to that judging from the boats moored in there.

What a great spot!!, 2015-01-13
Captain: , Trenton ON (668)

There aren't very many transient slips available (7) but if you are lucky to get in here, you will not be disappointed.

The washrooms are new and clean. So is the laundry room.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only thing is there is a 18' bridge (20' high tide) at the entrance of the creek. If you can make it under this bridge you will be good to go.
We came in on a low tide and only saw 4' at the transient sick, so be aware of that and check with the staff.

The beach is just across the road.

Excellent location with new floating docks, 2014-12-06
Captain: , Hollywood (10)

Marina now has new floating docks with power, water and pump out and each slip. Restrooms are clean. The nice beach is across the parking lot. I love floating docks.

New Marina being built (not done as of March 2014), 2014-03-08
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale (375)

Dania Beach Marina is having a $6 million facelift and will be modern and beautiful soonish. Just not right now.

Under Construction, 2013-05-07
Captain: , Macedon, NY (70)

This marina was marginal. When construiction is complete, it should become a stop. Great location near Port Everglades, a new Quarterdeck restaurant and the Dania Pier. After dredging and new docks it will be a destination

Not a fun stop!, 2013-04-23
Captain: , lighthouse point (289)

Under Construction and dust everywhere
