Reviews for Cuba Landing Marina
nice people, beautiful cove, 2017-08-18
Captain: , Seabrook, Yexas (112)

The marina staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us settled in. The channel from the river is well marked, with 10' depth all the way in at summer pool. The setting is in a beautiful cove. Would have given four stars if they had a courtesy car. But overall it's a good overnight stop.

Helpful Staff and Good Value Stop, 2016-09-25
Captain: , Norfolk, VA, USA (185)

We brought our 44' power cat here to overnight. The owners helped us and another boat dock and hook up power effectively. The entrance was well marked and had 9' of water as well as the transient slips. The docks were in good condition. At $0.75/ft. it was a good value.

A Good Value, 2016-09-15
Captain: , Punta Gorda FL (1709)

Nice friendly staff. Very helpful. Facilities are older and there is a spider problem. Very convenient location, just off I-40 one hour from Nashville. If you have a chance go to Grinder's Switch Winery southeast of the Marina.

Great stop for one night, 2015-10-25
Captain: , Green Cove Springs, FL (728)

Stayed here 10/7/15 with the lake at winter pool. Well marked channel with no issues for our 4.5 draft. We got in late afternoon and just stayed on the fuel dock, no problem for our 46' boat. There were plenty of open slips if traveling with a group. As others have said, no restaurant on site and not much to do other than take a nice long walk after a day on the boat.

fresh update, 2014-10-17
Captain: , Holland (270)

a good stop for slow boats. there are lots of good anchorages near here but for the slow boats who like to tie up not a bad stop. located in the middle of nowhere, nothing around except a restruant 2 miles away. limited transient slips, we tied off on the gas dock and another looper (37' trawler cat) had the other spot. close to highway so lots of road noise, just like home. showers are up the hill and like a campground, complete with spiders. price was 75 cents/ ft with elec.with boat us card otherwise $1/ft. diesel was $4.10 ish. a good do considering price/ value relationship. no depth issues when water was with in 2 feet of pool.

Easy well marked Channel into protected park setting, 2014-10-16
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, Fl (6909)

Very, very nice folks who are working hard to make this an nice marina. While not necesssary they met us at the dock to catch lines. Their efforts show as it is neat and well kept marina with good power and depth at the docks and entrance channel. Came in 10-16-14 at +2' over pool and saw 13' true depth at the dock and 15' in the channel entrance. .75 cent a foot with Boat US power included.

Great fo What it Is, 2014-09-29
Captain: , Wickford, RI (550)

Not much there except great service. We saw at least 10' all the way in from the river; very sheltered. Not a place for very large boats. We're 34 and had the fuel dock. We had head problems to fix and Josh gave us the dock to work, let us repeatedly use the pump-out, and quickly solved the last issue himself. No rstaurant on-site or near-by. A nice quiet stop with great people and service.

This rating is based on Friendliness, 2013-11-02
Captain: , Dog River Mobile, AL (293)

They monitor 16. the lake pool droped 2 foot today, but even with a 3.6 draft entered easily. 7 foot with a -3 on the pool, had 10 foot at fuel dock I rate them a 9 on kindness, small ships store, no restaurant. Which was ok since we tested the new Cobra inverter. It cooked a pork roast in the slow cooker....YUM

Would reccommend the anchorage if draft permits, 2012-11-15

Charged my batteries and did some laundry to have at least something to justify spending money here. No wifi, no curtesie car, no shopping, no... but friendly people.

Old but clean, 2012-10-18
Captain: , Eagle Creek, Kentucky Lake (88)

Spent the night at Cuba Landing. We tied up to the Transit Dock which is next to the boat ramp. Not a peaceful place s bass boats launch early morning. There is a shower/laundry building a short walk from the dock - clean but old. Overall, Cuba will do in a pinch but not high on our list of places to spend the night.

Nice Marina, 2012-10-08
Captain: , Aquia Harbour, VA (1177)

Small. Can only handle a few transient vessels. Docks in good condition and marina very clean. Easy access. Park like setting, but nothing else around. A courtesy car would be a welcome addition.

OK Stop for a night, 2012-09-04
Captain: , punta gorda, fl (1448)

Deep enough (10 ft deep at 2 ft below summer pool). Attractive scenery. Protected. Fair baths. Small store. Friendly staff (helped us dock in rain). Transient floating dock will accommodate two or three boats. Courtesy car was broken down so not available.

Good stop but nothing special, 2011-11-04
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, FL (603)

We stayed here twice in 2011. Minimal transient docking and minimal amenities but pleasant. Helpful staff, no courtesy car, no wi-fi.

Narrow entrance, 2011-08-06
Captain: , clear lake texas (435)

Narrow entrance but deep. They close at 4:30 and open at 8:00. Called before arriving and told to leave check in mail box when we left early. Well protected though marina docks are old and cleats at fuel dock too small had to tie off to pipe used as pilings

Very Quiet Out of Way Marina, 2010-10-14
Captain: , Cleveland (2083)

A very peaceful stop at the end of Kentucky Lake. Very nice and helpful staff. Restaurant on site was closed when we stayed but it was getting late in the season. Courtesy car if you want to go to Waverly to WalMart. Very senic as well!

Cuba Landing, 2008-05-23
Captain: , Charleston, SC (364)

Deep but narrow entrance. Docks are old but adeqate. Floating with individual slips ie you can get to both sides of boat while docked. The only marina that I could find in the area that had good verizon cell and aircard coverage.
