Reviews for Crystal Cove Resort
Pleasantly surprised, 2016-04-29

Kelly and Michelle were very helpful. We draw 4' and had 1 foot under the keel at low tide berthed at fuel dock. The price is $1 per foot, including electric (50 amp for us). Kelly lent us his truck and we enjoyed dinner at Corky Belle's. Very little current, though exposed to the east. We'll be back.

Good Gas Stop between Palatka & Jacksonville, 2015-10-27
Captain: , satsuma, fl (58)

Stoped for gas. Call ahead on phone (386-916-4499) for Pop to lend a hand for a line on the floating docked off the stern of the Palatka Yacht Club. He runs a little store at the pump to collect and sell various things. More convenient service than before.

Markers are as indicated, Not $5 a ft $1 a ft, 2015-08-19

Older docks, not near shopping, friendly boaters here, new bar and resturant supposed to open this july, breakfast and lunch cafe on property. lots of blind mosquetoes in season
wifi weak and unusable a transient dock
very few transient docks so call ahead, but did have 50 and 30 hookups
We where here in june, LOTS OF BUGS, you will need to wash your boat if it's bug season

Old Florida Marina with great amenities., 2015-03-02
Captain: , Jekyll Island Ga (482)

Laid back with Southern hospitality. Don the dockmaster could not be more helpful. The crew is very nice Jerry and Billy handled the lines and met us late Sunday. We stayed the week, very quiet. There is a pool we did not try due to the weather. Restrooms showers, etc all here. Old docks but safe. Easy approach with 5-6 ft depths. Very little current or tide. The electrical was good and the wifi worked for us to watch movies. Rental car from enterprize. Gas on site. Diesel by truck. Town is a few miles to shopping center. $5.00 a ft is quoted price. Pets welcome. Lots of liva boards. The 45 slips were full when we got there. We will be back! One resturant was closed for renovation, A Grill Cafe is open, Hotel onsite with laundry. The gronds are kept up clean. Pictures on our website.

Great service and location.

Great Place, 2014-09-30
Captain: , Jacksonville,Florida (155)

Restaurant and hotel very nice. Staff is very kind and helpful. The docks are sufficient but in need of work. The owners plan on concrete floating docks. The power needs upgrading. Several live abouards and some just living there on rental boats. If they do as good on the docks as they did on the hotel this is someday going to be a nice place to go via water.

Crystal Cove Resort Marina, 2013-07-24

The resteraunt and motel have been completely renovated and excellent. A plan is in place to install concrete floating docks. The new owners are very amiable and helpful. When the docks are complete, I expect a higher rating.

Basic needs, 2010-04-12
Captain: , Sanford, FL (206)

fixed dock with power, water and pump out. There are rooms to rent as well if needed. Place is run down looking which seems to be average for all public docks in Palatka. Only place to get fuel around which is why they are probably .50 higher than any other fuel prices. Nearest fuel stops seem to be about 30 miles on either side.

No Fuel, 2008-03-13
Captain: , Jacksonville Florida (125)

I stopped here briefly to get fuel but the pumps weren't working. I asked about transiet spots but the dock master said there weren't in available. The marina store was closed due to a fire but they were in the process of rebuilding. Fuel dock is very congested and dock is in generally poor condition.

Crystal Cove Marina, 2008-01-07
Captain: , Dunnellon, Fl (3)

Stopped overnight. No transient space available, but dockmaster let me tie up to fuel dock. Friendly, nearby bar and restaurant good. Cost low. Approach from river was 3-4 ft. at a low water period.

Congested and not well kept., 2007-07-03
Captain: , Melbourne, FL (112)

Ramp, gas, pumpout all located in one place which is very congested. Dock master does not take charge of the marina and some boaters show no respect for others by leaving boats tied up to the fuel dock/pumpout and leaving. Only 4 transient slips and no reservations. Permanent docks and hard to get on to them at low tide.

At this time, the marina store and baths have been closed for several months due to a fire.
