Reviews for Crescent Boat Club
Shallow water in the pool between Locks 6 and 7, 2017-05-20
Captain: , Houston, TX (553)

We tried to get into the docks, but ran aground in 4.1 ft of water (we draw 5.6 ft) 30 yards from the dock. The club folks were very nice and towed us into deeper water twice. The water level is about 2 - 3 ft lower than normal while work is being done on the lock gates. Hopefully, the level will return to normal soon.

We tried for a week to get a hold of someone at the Cresent Boat Club. They did not answer emails or phone calls. The number on their website and on Active Captain appears to be bogus. The Waterford Dockmaster tried to find a number for them and could not.

Delightful, Friendly Haven, 2015-09-07
Captain: , St Paul, MN (180)

We learned about this club through a family connection, a wonderful thing.
We docked there for their Labor Day Weekend Party and were made to feel very comfortable immediately and always. The menu was as delicious as the facilities were clean.
All in all, it's a great place to stop either just before entering or just after completing the Waterford Flight.
An added bonus is the Club's proximity to the Hudson-Mohawk Bikeway that goes to Albany or Schnectady.

Friendly Little Boat Club, 2015-06-11
Captain: , East Greenwich RI (515)

I know its hard to pay for a dock when there are so many free walls etc. But this was a pleasant stop, lovley grounds -very quite and private dock. Club house has wonderful showers and a nice bar. Worth the $1.50 a foot once in a while.
Club members very freiedly and welcoming.
No food or ammenitys near by.

Great stop before the flight, 2014-08-21
Captain: , Calgary (291)

Crescent Boat Club Marina is beautiful. It is a private boat club that allows transients. One of the club members was there to guide us in and helped us to dock. The dock has gas, a pump-out, water and 30A power. Clubhouse can be used if a member is present. The facilities are great. Spotless washrooms, barbeque area, covered gazebo with well-maintained gardens

Good stop after flight!, 2013-07-17
Captain: , Lisbon, OH (50)

Gasoline, pump out, 30/50 power, floating dock, free WiFi, water and nice club house. $1 per foot includes power. Dockmaster and members very friendly. One member let us use car to go to Walmart just couple miles North on route 9. Would suggest others consider this on the Erie Canal. Covered and screened area with tables.

Great Place, 2012-05-15
Captain: , Ocean (60)

These folks were very friendly and went out of their way to help us while we were passing through the area. Most other facilities were not yet open for the season, and they welcomed us. Five stars for this club!
