Additional info:

Approach

Port Credit is located at the mouth of the Credit River in Mississauga, 11 miles west of Toronto and 18 miles northeast of Hamilton.

Boaters approaching the harbour from the west side will see two landmarks - the St. Lawrence Cement's tall chimney and Petro-Canada's two tall chimneys.

When approaching Port Credit and the Credit River look for a grounded freighter called Ridgetown. It has a flashing red light on the bow. The freighter forms a break wall to the harbour. Upon entering the river look for the flashing red light on the pier on your starboard side and the green buoys on your port side. Also, look for the lighthouse which serves as the home of the Port Credit Business Association. Its flashing white light will guide you into Credit Village Marina.

Reviews for Credit Village Marina
Credit Village Marina aka Snug Harbor, 2014-08-26
Captain: , Killarney (80)

This is probably one of the most fun ports on Lake Ontario if you are looking for great restaraunts, bars, live entertainment and re-supply. Groceries stores and laundromats are nearby, Masons is a great chandlery, Bristol Marine has adequate mechanical services and lots of parts. There is great musical entertainment 7 nights a week at a variety of local pubs. Only downfall is liquor store and beer store is a bit far away. Liquor store is walkable approx 1km, beer store is likely a cab ride for most approx 2.5 km. Both are east on Lakeshore Blvd.

Great Location, 2014-07-07

Even with reciprocal rights, paying to stay at this marina can be worthwhile. The marina staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. The marina is right in the middle of the main street of Port Credit, with a number of restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores within easy walking distance. As others have noted, the access channel is relatively narrow, but we had no problems sharing with other vessels.

One of our favorite marinas on the north shore of Lake Ontario.
Great facility, great staff, great food, great location, I could go on an on...

Great Marina, 2011-01-27
Captain: , Lakefront Promenade Marina (46)

Great Marina, docks are in good condition and clean. Washrooms renovated in the last few years. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Call ahead if coming with a sailboat, water levels vary from year to year, usually low water October.

Wonderful marina, 2011-01-27

it's a great place to stay when in Port Credit. Right downtown and in walking distance of all the beauty that the Village has to offer!

Don't Regret it, Try Port Credit, 2011-01-26
Captain: , Toronto (592)

Okay, cheesey title but true really. As marinas at this end of the Canadian side go, it has a lot to offer. Can get crowded and on the weekends, lots of people going to the seafood restaurant located here and enjoying the public park. But the facilities are good and downtown Port Credit is fun. Book ahead.

Lots to do, 2010-11-12
Captain: , toronto (449)

Lots of restaraunts and bars. Shopping and activities. It is a nice well run clean marina. You have to book well ahead or you will not get in. Lots of weekend activities. Popular port.
