Reviews for Cortez Cove Marina
Great Service - Yacht Solutions LLC, 2016-08-06
Captain: , Michigan (60)

No problem getting into the marina - plenty of depth (9') at high tide. Had the bottom painted on our Krogen 48 as well as some other service done on the boat. Excellent job done, very professional staff and workers for a very reasonable price. Will use again - highly recommended!

A Sad Little Piece of Old Florida, 2015-09-07
Captain: , Paradise, MI (64)

This marina is primarily a boat yard, so the amenities are non-existent. The facilities are rapidly deteriorating due to lack of upkeep. The finger of land to the dilapidated fishing dock is no longer being mowed, the grounds are sporting sinkholes near the concrete dock walls. The free wifi is 5G but hard to get unless you have an extender or are standing in front of the office. There are 2 heads with showers but they are not climate controlled or cleaned regularly. 3 blocks from a mom and pop grocery store, cafe and post office. Next door 2 is a bar and grill with nightly live music next door--mostly oldie%u2019s rock.

Friendly and proffesional, 2015-09-04
Captain: , Beaumont, TX (669)

This is a full service boat yard. Did a quick haul , tightened up prop nuts and had me on my way within an hour. Tight entrance and they do not monitor VHF. so use telephone. They will make it happen. I would use them again.

Great job done fast at reasonable $, 2014-12-09
Captain: , Atlanta (770)

Found out night before (12/7/14) that we had a dead generator battery. Called marina first thing next morning, got there about 10:30. Hard to find - really have to wind your way in- but very helpful staff. Jimmy (the mechanic) tested battery and confirmed what I already knew, that it was dead. Ordered a new battery, installed and tested it and had me out of there in 3 hours (would have been less had it not been over lunch). Charged one hour labor, which was very fair.

Did not stay the night, but did walk up to nearby restaurant for lunch (at least 3 in walking distance). Also, laundry and convenience store nearby 1/2 mile?). Bath/showers were clean, well lit.

First Rate Operation, 2014-07-03
Captain: , Charleston SC (805)

Now under new management, Yacht Solutions, contact : Francisco Costa, who are devoted to providing the best solutions for customer needs.High level of customer service. Also good news is that Jimmyi, a top flight mechanic, is still available on site. Our last visit was in 2009 when we wrote the following review: "Top quality work, personal service. Staff go to great lengths to ensure customer satisfaction at a reasonable cost. Yard and all facilitiesis kept clean and well maintained. Beautiful setting in historic Cortez Village."

Teak Deck and New Kitchen, 2014-04-23
Captain: , Sarasota Yacht Club (20)

The best I have ever seen. Saved my thousands restoring my teak deck. Then they rebuilt my galley. Amazing teak floors and light weight granite counter at an outstanding price.

New owner at the Crotez Cove, 2013-05-09
Captain: , Palmetto Florida (47)

Cortez Cove is under new owners. They did a great job [excellent job] on repairing my teak rail. Also installed a cutless, realined my motor, some fiberglass repair and bottom paint. Did a good job on all. Of coarse it always takes longer and cost more than expected, as it does in all marinas. Want good wood craftmen Crotez Cove is your place.

scenic location, 2010-08-27
Captain: , Marathon, FL (121)

marina could use an upgrade, but the location is cool, and it has a very local flavor.
