Reviews for Cornwall Yacht Club
What a find, 2017-06-04
Captain: , Wanakena, NY (739)

With marina's far and in between on the Hudson, we sure were so fortunate to dock here. The members were welcoming from our first phone call to our multiple text messages. They made sure we got a spot that worked for our 43 plus ft trawler. Volunteers came to our aid when docking and extended friendly hellos as we passed by. Used one of the many barbaque grills on the premises, were offered hoses for filling our tanks, got a free pump out, showers were fine, and got lots of local information. Plus the $1.50 plus tax per foot is the lowest price we have seen on the river since NYC. To contact the marina call any member on their web site. They were all fabulous.
Thanks Cornwall Boat Club, we couldn't have been happier during our 2 day stay.

Very tight slips and challenging docks but all made up by very helpful members and ready access to town

great steak bake , nice views of the river, 2013-09-08
Captain: , West shore Marlboro NY (825)

great views of the river looking north, marina is protected and was just dredged a few yrs ago so there is plenty of water inside the marina. no slips so you must tie up to piles.
very helpful staff was here for the steak bake in early sept well organized and lots of food from burgers to shrimp to huge slabs of steak you cant leave hungry we will be back again

Stayed one night a few years ago. Really nice folks there, very welcomming. I was having fuel issues and going thru more filters than I planned, and one of their memebers loaned me 6 elements to get me home to Ct. How cool was that.
Thanks again!!

Small club with big appeal., 2011-06-24

On the Friday before Fathers's Day 2011, stoped there around 10am for a pumpout and water on a trip south. Docking was easy. The members there were very friendly and helpful. Showed us around there beautiful AC club and provided us with coffee, free of charge. Their kitchen was was up and running and for a modest amout you could order breakfast or lunch(every Fri. through Sun.) and enjoy the beautiful view.

Wonderful small club, 2009-06-20

We arrived here on a father's day in 2006 and were welcomed to their pancake breakfast like we were family. Inside the basin is well protected but quite shallow. Our four ft draft dredged a bit of it for them, no charge. It is a healthy walk to town up a steep incline but a few feet up, a car stopped to offer to drive us to town. People went out of their way to be helpful and there were quite a few very nice restaurants in town.
