Reviews for Corky Bell's Seafood and Steaks at Gator Landing
Good food...good dock, 2016-04-29
Captain: , jacksonville, FL (30)

We had a very enjoyable dinner, and since it was late in the evening, we stayed at the dock for the night. There were no problems at all.

Great Dock, plenty of depth, 2016-04-15
Captain: , Grand Rivers, Ky (1522)

Good food and very nice restaurant and bar. Indoor or outdoor seating. Very nice floating dock, room for several boats. We did not attempt an overnight.

Great food and a very pleasant overnight, 2016-02-19
Captain: , baltimore md (634)

Stopped here mid february 2016 on our way south on the st. johns. We ate here and had a few beverages. Good food and very nice staff. We asked at the bar about staying overnight and though they are not encouraging it it was not a problem for us.Very easy side tie floating dock. Thank you Corky Bells!

Now has 20 amp power., 2016-01-16

They have put outlets on the pilings, also VERY bright flood lights.

Free dock and good eats, 2015-12-30

We spent a quiet night alone on this dock after a very nice meal at Corky Bells. The dock is sturdy but can get a bit sloppy when waked by passing boats. Water is very deep at the dock.

In the morning before the restaurant opened we walked across the street to the grocery store for a few provisions.

Current is swift here and you will have no help on the dock, so be prepared.

Grerat restaurant. probably the best seafood I have had. Prices are good and plenty of food. Nice place. Docks are floating and easy to use. Great place to go via water.

Dock n Dine Corky Bells, 2014-02-26
Captain: , Camp Lejeune, NC (180)

Free dock if you dine at Corky Bells. Deep water (25') on a modern floating dock with no electricity or water. Very little current. Food was excellent and moderately priced. Approach from channel stays deep all the way to the dock

Good Food, Secure Dock, 2013-02-23
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (4015)

We tied to the end of the dock, away from the restaurant. Friends drove in to meet us for sharing of food and conversation. Corky Bell's is the most popular restaurant in Palatka, locals recommending reservation on any night to avoid a wait. Two sheriff's boats and two police boats were the only others on the dock as the local law enforcement was enjoying dinner there that evening also. While a Thursday night, there was no bass tournament weight in, although a banner advertised the weekly event. After spending a quiet night, an extention cord to the 15 amp outlet provided power to the coffee pot. After eating dinner there, it does not seem the best idea to travel through crab pot infestest waters in the darkness to find an anchorage or another dock.

Great food and Service, 2013-02-07
Captain: , Athens, GA (110)

We visited Corky Bells on February with friends who brought a car. The food and service was great. We walked around the docks and found them to be excellent. We arrived at nightfall so we didn't take the boat to the docks. Maybe next time we visit we will take advantage of their docks

Corky Bell's Seafood and Steak, 2012-03-23
Captain: , Lewisporte, Nl. (619)

What a great restaurant and bar! We docked at the restaurant at 11:00, we walked across the street to a nice grocery store and dollar store. There is also an auto parts store a couple of blocks away and an Ace hardware a couple of blocks the opposite way.
We had a terrific lunch at Corky's, nice frosty mugs. Lots of outdoor seating with a fabulous view. The dock is new floating with 15 amp power outlets. The signs say no overnight but we had drinks and dinner at the restaurant and stayed overnight with no problem. They have reggae on Thursday nights starting in April. They are slao the weigh station for bass tournements on Thursdays at 5:30.

Good stop, Great restaurant, 2011-05-03
Captain: , Stone Mountain, GA (179)

In addition to the grocery and auto parts within a few blocks, there is an Ace Hardware 1/4 up the road. The restaurant seafood is outstanding and very reasonably priced. And everone is extremely friendly and helpful. A waitress told me that the the "No overnight stays" rule is imposed by the county, not the restaurant. No one in the restaurant seems to monitor the dock.

No ammenities. Just a dock to tie up to while eating. Dock is about 100' long and can accomodate many boats on both sides.

New cocrete floating docks as well as a new restaurant. Docks are lighted making for easy identification. Prices are very reasonable. Also has large patio and large bar.
