Reviews for Corinthian Yacht Club of Marblehead, MA
Waaay Too Rolly, 2017-08-09
Captain: , Beaufort, SC (30)

Transient moorings are at the mouth of the harbor and fully exposed. At night, absent boat traffic and wind, there are still gentle swells from the ocean that will rock you. Very calm weather while we were there and still too much.

Very friendly, 2016-07-24

Wind from the South, so the only rolling we did was passing boats (LOTS of them!) Call the Club on CH 9, they are very friendly, even for first-timers like us. Launch service is quick & friendly.

Rockin' & Rollin' in Marblehead, 2016-07-10
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (30)

Although Marblehead is a must do for any sailor and the Corinthian Yacht Club is gracious enough to offer mooring balls to non-member transients ($45), the transient moorings are at the mouth of the harbor and subject to a lot of wave action.

Great Service and Hospitality, 2016-07-07

We stayed on a mooring ($45) on July 5th. The launch service was great and everyone we met at the club was great. Nice shorts and collared shirts were fine for attire.

We were on a mooring at the entrance to the harbor so we did roll around quite a bit.

Nice weekend, 2016-07-03

There's no anchoring in Marblehead harbor--the place is just filled with mooring balls. You can call the harbormaster or any of the yacht clubs for ball assignments. The harbormaster himself maintains three or four town mooring balls for about $25 a night. You might try there first. But we arrived on a busy 4th of July weekend, and the Corinthian Yacht Club had a space for us, which was great. For $45 the incredible launch service will ferry you to and from your boat until 11 pm. If you'd like to go to the west side of the harbor, ask to be dropped at The Landing. I'd stay here again.

Top Notch Club, 2015-08-12
Captain: , Yarmouth, ME (180)

We tucked in here to avoid t-storms passing through. Loved the club, staff, and dining room. What a great protected location with leasy access to Marblehead Village and resturaunts.

Corinthian has the service as number 1 objective. The tender guys, Jack and Ralph, were top notch. Took care of us.

Outdoor pool is open to transits.

Need reservations for dinner on Wed nights. Make in advance.Office is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

tender service runs 7 days a week.

We will always stay here when visiting Marblehead, which is a great town to visit.

nice but $$$$, 2011-03-04

Having been invited here a few times for dinner and events like the 4th of July, I can say that it's a VERY nice club.

It's also a ton of money to join as well as a ton of money for dues. The redeeming factor is that you only pay for part of the year.
