Good Lunch, 2012-09-11

Great place to go on a daysail from Portland. We had a great lunch.
Just beware of the ferry schedule if the ferry is on the dock you have to wait about 20 miinutes for docking space

Great location. Views all around and next to the Cribstone Bridge. Food is fine but nothing special. If your in the area, it makes a fine stop.

Enjoyable stay, 2010-04-20

Cooks Lobster House restaurant also serves as a lobster boat unloading dock, ferry landing and transient dockage. There is an element of "roughing it" here, but there's a certain charm to being in the middle of all the coming and going. The restaurant is quite a tourist attraction. We walked up the road to see the cribwork bridge, but I think I read that's being replaced. There's a resort hotel, kayak rental and a small store on the other side. Very picturesque spot. I will be back.
