Once tied to the dock, you are in for a treat. Getting to the dock is a bit tricky. The channel markings are far from clear and that is being generous. The best suggestion is to have your chart plotter as low as it goes and follow the channel carefully. There are sticks serving as markers, one with a red cloth acting in place of a buoy, the other just a stick with a white cloth acting as the red marker. To make matters worse there is an orange/red lobster pot float that is easily mistaken for a buoy. If you make the mistake you will wind up on a sand bar like I did. Finding myself stuck, I was thankful that the staff came out in their pump out boat to pull me off the sand bar. The channel takes very sharp turns so watch your chart plotter. Another hint, you will need about 80 feet of cord to reach the power hook up. The staff is more than friendly and go out of their way to be of service. The bathroom and showers are clean and the bbq readily available. The other boaters are friendly and more than willing to lend a hand or advice how to navigate the channel. The people in the houses across the channel can be a bit noisey, but after all, it is the Hamptons in the summer. Make sure you bring what you need, since the town is a distance.
If you want convenience and more action, Sag Harbor is a better choice.

Conscience Point Marina has good facilities and North Sea harbor is very pretty. Compared to the marina rates in nearby Sag Harbor, Conscience Point is a bargain. There are no restaurants are shopping facilities within walking distance of the marina. The channel to the marina is a bit tricky -- try to go at half tide or higher if you draw more than about three or four feet. The manager was very friendly.
