Reviews for Conneaut Boat Club
small club great folks, 2015-07-02
Captain: , CURTICE (171)

narrow enterance and fairly tight with only one official guest dock.

folks here were great even though we had just shown up on the off chance of an overnight dock. they even offered to go into town for us to buy groceries.

gas is available and a bit of a walk into town are some stores. nice clean clubhouse with reasonably priced bar. very clean bathrooms and showers.

great boat club!, 2014-09-10
Captain: , Erie , pa (10)

I have stayed at this facility off and on over past several years and just last week spent two nights there. Wonderful people! friendly and very helpful....the marina constantly is improved...showers very clean, a bar for drinks and talk....the town very quaint with a rich history and now a new waterfront restaurant......give this 5 stars!

Conneaut Boat Club - Nice port in a storm!, 2012-07-17
Captain: , Saugatuck, MI (144)

We had left Erie, PA this morning heading west, but misjudged wind and wave action. In essence, we were caught in an uncomfortable cruising situation. As we approached Conneaut, we called the boat club, and Rick came to our rescue. The club does not generally serve 60' boats, but Rick understood our dilemma, and told us we could head in for safe harbor. He placed us on his guest dock, helped us tie up, and made us feel welcome. Although the marina provided gasoline, diesel was not available. Rick wanted to help, so he contacted the city for permission to allow us to refuel by having a truck deliver diesel to our boat at the city dock. He arranged everything for us! What more can you ask for? The marina has a nice club house that serves cocktails around 4pm. Everyone we met offered a warm welcome. Rick even offered us the use of his car. The members of this club treated us with kindness and generosity. We tried to use the electricity at the dock, but we needed 50 amp service. Rick told us to just use our generator . . . no problem. We cannot say enough about these folks. If a boater needed help, they wouldn't find a better marina or more accommodating people than those we met at Conneaut Boat Club.
