Reviews for Coffee Bluff Marina
great place, 2017-05-14
Captain: , Baltimore, MD (1253)

Great little marina run by Marvin, who couldn't have been nicer. Price is nice, too. Clean. Great area! Safe. Not close to shopping but bus runs right to marina.

Very Nice Marina, 2017-04-17
Captain: , Savannah GA (82)

Everything about this Marina is first class...spotless showers and restrooms, modern free laundry, and free strong WiFi. Marvin, Matt and David provide friendly professional service making sure all your needs and expectations are met. Because of strong currents make sure to schedule your arrival during a slack tide.

Top Notch & tiny, 2016-12-28

The City of Savannah, the City Council, Madam Mayor, Architects & Planners all deserve accolades for this facility not to overlook their choice of Marvin Metzger for its management.

We spent a week here concluding w/Christmas Dinner at the Pink House -- we will be back soon.

Very Accommodating , 2016-12-14
Captain: , Philadelphia, Pa. (201)

Called ahead to make reservations on Tuesday 12/13/16 but msg said Marina was closed Tuesday- Wednesday due to winter hours. Left a msg and promptly receive a reply that someone would meet us there even though they were closed. Facilities were clean and modern (including FREE laundry) as were the docks. Can't say enough positive things about the staff, they were very welcoming. 4 stars instead of five, because the current is strong. We are no strangers from docking in current, but we arrived on a Super Moon tide, and the marina is situated on the outside curve of the river. We docked easily enough with our sailboat on the outside dock, but our knot meter was reading 3.5 knots while docked! Departure the following morning was much more difficult due to the incoming tide because the lines were under great tension. Obviously not the marinas fault, just saying that if you are in an under powered vessel, you may want to arrive and depart at slack tide.

A work in progress, 2015-12-05
Captain: , Milwaukee WI (939)

This marina has been totally rebuilt by the city of Savannah. The floating docks are beautiful, wide and sturdy. Power at each slip. Can accomodate up to 50' in a slip, more on outside wall. Eight foot tides and current are a challenge, but dock staff is knowledgable and helpful. Secure facility with locked gate and restrooms. The ammenities are yet to be installed. There are connecitons in shower room for washer/dryer. It could use a bench and some decorating. There is a large room in the office that would make a wonderful boaters lounge. The new managers are very eager to be helpful and weclome suggestions for upgrades.
We spent Thanksgiving weekend here, the boat was perfectly secure and safe while we visited friends up the road. Price was right at $1/ft. It is an easy, deep water diversion off the ICW that we can recommend.

Finally open!!, 2014-08-26
Captain: , Savannah (10)

I've already been hoisted in and out here and I am so happy they're back up and running. I'm a new boater and the man running the marina was super helpful in providing some instruction on docking and preparing to hoist. Only $20 to hoist in and out. Well worth my money! Still working on getting the store up and running, but this marina will be even more amazing when all is said and done. I'll be back, often!!
