Reviews for The Railway
Cocomo's Restaurant, 2016-10-02
Captain: , Wrightsville beach, NC (304)

Restaurant now named Restaurant now named Cocomo's. Excellent service, fried, broiled and steamed seafood and iced bottle beer. Lunch about $30 for 2, dinner $60.

Bad service, 2014-05-29
Captain: , Grand Haven (470)

When we arrived we saw a few people standing at the door. we also saw a lot of empty tables. Thinking that we would be served soon. Wrong!! the staff just walked past not even saying we will be with you soon. After we were given a table we waited 30 minutes without even so much as water. We left!!

Specials were great but service, not so great..., 2013-08-28
Captain: , Rock Hall, MD (112)

We had the Tuna with Bernaise sauce special and the Trout Almondine. We asked for Medium rare on the tuna...one came out perfect the other was slightly overcooked but still moist and tender. The Flounder was cooked well and flavorful. The service was slow.it was a crowded Saturday night ...the cornbread never arrived. Saw the server swing by at top speed, she was busing tables too but had to get up to get her to get her attention.

Much improved, 2013-05-26
Captain: , Kilmarnock, VA (10)

Had dinner the other nigh and was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food was much better than last year. The prices have increased too, but was worth it.

decent food, 2012-11-18

who ever runs Fb, 2012-10-17
Captain: , Deltaville Va (531)

Drove over for a meal, rate the meal as 1 step above fast food, No dink dock, They maybe thing about it. after all they're on the water.

Very good., 2012-09-27
Captain: , Topsail Beach, NC (480)

We dinghied over from Regatta Point a couple of times. Food is good, but a little pricey. They will also come pick you up from local marinas.

Easy Dinghy Accessible Restaurant, 2012-08-09
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (555)

Easy dinghy access when in a marina in Deltaville. Dock your dinghy by the houseboats. Outdoor patio and friendly waitresses make it a nice stop. Food is good, beer is cold.

Reasonable, 2012-07-05
Captain: , Norfolk Virginia (469)

Recommended when we stopped at Regatta Point and Cocomos even picked up us and returned us (going to be one of the staff in their private vehicle and tips encouraged). Gets harder for them to provide this service later in evening when "crowd" starts to show.

Impressed with food. Mid-Bay Seafood approach but very well prepared (had bacon wrapped scollops and most excellent). Deck is nice depending on the weather.

One of the best in town, 2011-12-17
Captain: , Deltaville, Va (91)

We routinely eat there when we're staying on the boat and in town. Food is good, staff is very friendly. Service can be a little slow at times and some of the staff should write down orders, instead of trying to memorize/guess/come back to ask again....but overall, a nice family restaurant. Bar area is far enough away from main dining to not ruin a nice dinner - unless its live band night, and then the entire place is crazy (and fun!).

sigh...while the food can be good, it can be bad too, 2011-11-18
Captain: , Hampton, VA (2502)

I've been here and really enjoyed everything and have had times when I thought I should go help the kitchen out. Atmosphere is fun. Great outside patio when its nice.

Good food - reasonable price, 2011-06-13
Captain: , Warsaw, Ky (875)

Good food at a reasonable price. Service is excellent. Be sure to try the crab cake sandwich and the fried oyster dinner.

Cocomos Restaurant, 2011-03-11
Captain: , Deltaville Va (120)

Great atmosphere and good food

Local Restaurant, 2011-02-28
Captain: , Annapolis (2892)

There are transient slips for free if youeat at the restaurant, and they encourage dinghy landings. In 2010 they would send a limo to local marinas to pick up patrons. Food is fine, location is very convenient.
