Reviews for Chicks Marina
Great stay, 2017-08-13
Captain: , Naples (100)

Clean, good docks, very helpful staff, easy walk into town. They also have a courtesy electric car. Excellent interactions with the manager. Lots of good restaurant choices and a fun town to visit.

NIce and New, 2016-08-05
Captain: , Wickford, RI (550)

A nice marina: clean showers/restrooms, easy walk to town, complimentary coffee in the pleasant lounge. And the dock staff is very good helping folks deal with the river current.
But it is expensive or would give a better rating.

Very unfriendly and $5 ft to raft!, 2015-09-06
Captain: , Norwalk (10)

Visited 6 marinas in Maine and all were very friendly and reasonably priced. Management was very difficult to deal with and who pays $5 ft to raft up! Yes this info was on website but should have been made aware. Also no flexibility to change dates even though we wanted to give back nights in advance that they were sold out on. Would not return there are other options. Loved Kennebunkport.

Clean modern marina and great staff, 2015-07-08
Captain: , Constitution Marina, Boston (80)

Chick's marina is a ery clean and new marina. The staff are very helful and give excellent instructions for coming up the river. In the morning coffee and danish's are available in the dock lounge. There is an electronic courtesy car to take you to town. But the town is a short walk where there are many restuarants and tourist attractions.

If it werent so expensive I would have given five stars.

Really good marina, 2014-08-04
Captain: , Ft. Lauderdale (1164)

Very competent and helpful staff. Even closed up the boat when rain threatened while I was away. Docks in great shape, good power. Everything is clean and neat. Pleasant lounge.

Very expensive....! That said, it is almost always full during the season, so.... Pretty town with President Bush 41's summer home close by. Would warrent 5 stars if charges more reasonable.

Great Service & Beautiful Facility, 2014-06-09
Captain: , Newburyport, MA (10)

Dock staff was very polite and always helpful. Chicks is a very neat and tidy marina where nothing is out of place or left neglected. A bit pricey at $4.50/ft and $50/night for power! But you get what you pay for....maybe not with the power:-) Regardless, we would go back. Left near dead low tide and had 6'+ all the way out. President Bush (Sr) went by and gave a nice wave.

Great place., 2013-08-26
Captain: , salem ma (380)

If you're a sailboat you're on the face dock. The fuel fill will reach anyone on the face without having to move. Dockage is pricey - but worth it. The boat ramp is a great place to bring the dogs for a swim.

Aug 2013 - pumpout is not operational.

Love this marina & The Town Too, 2012-03-14
Captain: , Huntington, NY (2311)

Marina Review: Great Service and Great Facility. The people here are so helpful. Every day we were welcomed, reminded of something we can do free in town. They also took the initiative to find me another marina when I decided to extend our stay into a weekend they were already booked.

Town review: The town of Kennybunkport was so refeshing to visit. It was lively and in good repair, nothing like many of the towns along this coast that are depressed.

The marina is withing walking distance of numerous resturants and shopping opportunities. We spent 3 1/2 days here, and more hours shopping here than any other port in my life. Coming down the coast from Arcadia we made many stops and was planning to visit only 1 night here, but decided to stay 3. We found some really good local art while shopping. There are so many entertainment options here, and a bus system that will bring you to four other towns nearby, one of which had Paula Poundstone (comedian) doing a show.

Spent quite a bit of money ourselves supporting the local economy, it was easy to do in this place, it's very up beat.

Nice Marina, but Pricey, 2010-04-23
Captain: , Ipswich, MA (318)

Kennebunport is a nice little town, but VERY touristy. A few good restaurants within walking distance. The river is very busy with tour boats.

Chicks Marina Kennybunkport, ME, 2009-08-01
Captain: , Monches,wi (330)

Quoted price per ft is high, but "promotion package" takes some of the bite out. The longer you stay, the price drops. Very nice facility and friendly, helpful staff, especially Adrian on the docks and Lillian in the office. Gets very busy on weekends.

Kennybunkport is a neat little place that is overwhelmed by tourists, many looking for a GHW/Barbara sighting. Try Mabels for lunch/dinner, or go to Port Lobster for a great take-out lunch or dinner. Call in ahead of time and they'll have your order ready to go when you arrive.

A spot on the River, 2009-08-01
Captain: , Portsmouth NH (71)

We visited Kennebunkport mid week and enjoyed our stay at Chicks. Our only regret was that we wished our itinerary would have allowed us to stay two nights to take advantage of their promotional package.

Marina staff was friendly and helpful and the dockhands assistance was appreciated when coming in with wind and current mid tide. Clean showers too…

Lot’s to do in town and a dingy ride on the river is also enjoyable.

Since the have to raft boats on weekends, recommend visiting during the week…

Another fancy marina, 2007-02-18
Captain: , Chesapeake (261)

We were first put-off with the price, higher than Libery Landing in NYC! And I wanted to dispose of about 2 gallons of contaminated diesel fuel. They had a facility, but wouldn't take mine.
