Reviews for Chichester Marina
Just an update on featues/facilities, 2015-01-15
Captain: , Chichester (18)

The Spinnaker Bar/Restuarant/Shop has closed. On site drink/food services are currently the Boat House Cafe and the Yacht Club. (Boat House has free wifi)
The marina free wifi (up to 4hours in 24) works well. Options to purchase additional time.
Marina laundry facilities updated
Local bus stop/service is <10min stroll. Taxis available.
Marina Office will take in post/packages should you require a location for collection.
There is now a Marine Superstore on site for all your chandlery needs and Force 4 is a couple of miles away. Quite a few marine services on site.

A very good marina., 2014-05-28

Friendly welcome.Superb loos/showers. Older reviews related to pre-refurbishment. Very peaceful. fantastic flat walks and cycle rides. Surrounding villages beautiful. Sailing clubs welcoming. Longish walk or easy cycle to Chichester along cannal path. Chichester full of charm, great pub overlooking the cricket pitch. Unusual and up market shops.
Entrance to Harbour well buoyed and straightforward (in OK weather) but make sure you have studied the maps and pilot books

Chichester Marina great service, 2014-02-15
Captain: , Torquay (220)

One of the best bits about Chichester Marina is the superb staff. Graham and Claire the managers are very helpful and welcoming, as are all the staff.
For some reason it appears to rain less in Chi and is a sun trap.
The marina is very peaceful and tranquil being inside a lock and inside nice countryside.
Great walks around and very spacious.
New cafe just opened plus the Spinnaker bar.
I don't think that it looks like a motorway services BTW. I like the look of the place. Comment probably because the old building was mostly timeber and had a verander.
I like it.
Very, very, very posh and luxurious showers!
I don't wash for a month before we sail there, just to make the most of the shower blocks. There are several very posh shower blocks. Second to none in poshnes

Good value Marina with lots of facilities, 2013-04-11
Captain: , Southampton , UK (1327)

Not sure what the other reviewers saw when they came to this Marina to score it so badly.

Plus points

Very friendly staff. Lots of facilities including outhauls. Onsite chandellry which carries all the basics if you are working on your boat.

Very competitviley priced for the Solent area.

Minus points

Long way in land 45 mins motor although it is very pretty in the harbour

It is a large marina but there is car access to very pontoon/ slip. There is a lock which gets very busy at weekends so plan ahead. Try to go in and out at freeflow to avoid waiting for a lock position.

Large marina, 2010-10-03
Captain: , Gosport (294)

This is a big marina in a lovely setting. Feels a bit impersonal and bar/shop/chandlery complex has a feel of the motorway services.

Chichester Marina., 2010-08-17
Captain: , UK South Coast (534)

Big Commercial Marina. "Spinnaker" does fair food. There's a chandler on site & a yacht broker. Showers are clean. There's a lock maintaining water level in the marina & deeper draught boats might want to check depths outside a bit carefully around low tide. If you like Marinas, you'll probably like this - it's more rural than some.
