Stay straight, DUE SOUTH, following the shoreline, with the sedge island to your starboard side. (DO NOT FOLLOW THE FEDERAL CHANNEL TO THE RIGHT) As a landmark, the Marina sits directly in front of the 18 story white condominium building.

Transients should pull up to the Gas Dock to sign in and receive a slip assignment. Be sure to have onboard 2 bow lines, 2 stern lines and 1 spring line, at least 25’ feet in length, preferably 30’ in length. You must also provide your own electrical cord and adapter if necessary.

Stayed there over night once. Nice destination Marina. Plenty of transient slips. Friendly people. Tiki bar and pool / rest rooms are nice and well kept. Fun things to do and places to eat within walking distance.

Great Place to Stay, 2016-03-16
Captain: , Merrick, NY (10)

I've been staying here now for 5 years. Always a pleasure, great atmosphere & people. I highly recommend it. It's a bit of a slow ride down the river to get there but well worth the trip.

This is the best place ever.. Wintered here and am now on boat in cold. Staff could not be better. They have helped with all asked.
Stop here for the best of every thing

Awesome Place to Spend a Long Weekend, 2014-09-03
Captain: , Lindenhurst, NY (161)

This place was re-done after Sandy and is better than ever. Sure the trip down the river is long and slow, but it is well marked and plenty deep. After Sea Bright bridge (14' Clearance - Opens on Demand Ch 13 M-F and Every half hour Sat-Sun), stay to left going South, don't take main channel. Watch Speed in river as there are alot of black Zodiac State Police boats.

The Marina itself has a awesome tiki bar with live music and a heated pool. Prices are the most reasonable I ever saw at a marina. If you want to cook on your own, they provide a gas grill, nice wicker furniture, table, gazebo and nice lighting. Also don't forget the numerous palm trees around the place and flowers galore. If you make yourself a pina colada or grabe one at the bar, sit on the deck in a wicker chair, and look up at plam trees you will think you are in Carribean!

5 stars all the way. This is a nice non overpriced, non stuffy marina.

Fuel is cheap but cheaper up the river, but not worth the extra stop. Pumpout will suck your tank dry too!

Dock hands are good, just short handed at end of season due to school, so we were disspaointed there, but the slips are easy to get into. Do drop fenders to waterline for floaters. Good power and great water pressure.

New restaruant opening soon with top chef!

Check out beach and Pier Villlage in Long Branch. Town has some good food places too.

Great Destination Marina, 2014-08-11
Captain: , East Coast (194)

If you are willing to endure the 1 hour+ no wake travel neccessary to arrive at The Channel Club you will find yourself at a terrific destination marina. The new floating docks and pedestals are excellent, the pool & tiki bar/restaurant are very good and the staff and boaters in general are very nice and helpful. They had live music each day through our three-day weekend stay and four out of the five artists/bands were fantastic.

Beach and provisions are an easy twelve minute walk or shorter golf-cart shuttle ride away. Limited dining choices nearby but they are good. Friendly and helpful folks at the marine store on-site.

WiFi needs work at the time of this review, at least where we were located. AT&T LTE service in the area is good.

As noted, be dilligent with your navigation. The channel is well-marked and I saw no less than 5' within an hour of dead-low but you must pay attention.

At $5+/foot it is pricey but I will be back.

Pleasent Surprise, 2014-07-29
Captain: , Newport RI (247)

This marina has a "country unpolished charm". The docks are all new floating docks and very nice. They provide a golf cart to the beach. The dock hands are very nice although a bit quirky. The kids working the fuel dock are so green and cluless I have never seen so many boats crash into a dock. NOTE: you must get navigational directions from the marina. If you have a 4' draft or greater you can not follow the federal chanel which looks like the best route into the marina. The marked chanel is very narrow and there is basicly no water outside the chanel.

Great place for a visit, 2013-07-05
Captain: , new rochelle ny (50)

We visited the channel club over the 4th of july and what a great place. It has been rebuilt after Sandy with all new floating docks and the staff here is amazing. Palm trees welcome you and the pool and tiki bar are great and so was the food. Aside from it being a beautful place I cannot stress how accomodating the staff is. Dave the dockmaster and the whole group made our stay excellent and would highly recommend the channel club.

Nice Transient Marina, 2012-08-27
Captain: , Parlin, NJ (158)

Dave and staff go out of their way to make you feel like you are away like the Bamahas. The pool is heated and the kids loved it. There is a Bar that serves food at the pool. Just a quick walk to the otherside of the property is Sallee Tees Grille. Food is good. You also have access to beach which is about a 10 minute walk. Public access no fees. Beach is nice, clean, and not crowded. You can walk to town which has a mini mart, breakfast resturant, coffee shop and some other smaller shops.

Channel is well marked. When coming into Channel club make sure you hug the shore on the port side and the port side of the no wake bouy. If you go to the starboard side of the no wake bouy you may hit bottom.

No Dock and Dine, or pump out. Gas is available.

no dock and dine, 2011-05-15

too bad. great bar and food.

Nice place to visit with full amenities, 2011-05-11
Captain: , Red Bank, NJ (62)

Other than having to wait for the Sea Bright Bridge (bascule bridge opens on 1/2 hour and hour), the channel is well marked and unobstructed. Good water depth. All fixed docks with finger piers. Fuel dock is well protected. Onsite, Blue Water Marine can handle most of your basic fixes. 50 ton Travel Lift. Sallee T's is a great restaurant featureing delli, steak, seafood, sushi, etc. There is a nice pool on the property as well as a catering facility that you can listen to the live bands play while other people dance the night away inside.
