Reviews for Champlain Marina
Very nice marina, 2016-08-14
Captain: , Ipswich, MA (162)

We stayed for 4 days and took in the air show in Burlington. Bruce, Don, and the crew are great. The facility is very nice with new bathrooms that are kept clean. The club house is wonderfull with a large screan TV and nice seating and even has a full kitchen. The docks are almost new condition with good power and water. There are tents with several BBQ grills and nice picnic tables. Fuel price is the best in the area. The tavern next door has great food and prices. There is a hardware store and small grocery store about 5 min walk. Whats not to like!

Captain: , Lake City Colorado (50)

Champlain Marina first class operation Don the dock master and Pete go way out of there way to be helpful. Best fuel prices on the lake, top quality floating docks . everything you need close within walking distance . also local boaters very welcoming. Call in advance for slip as with most great marinas space is limited. Thanks Managment

Great Stop! Friendly People, 2016-06-22
Captain: , Grand Rivers, Ky (1522)

6-13-16 Stayed here a few days for foul weather to pass. Great staff, very helpful and friendly. The restrooms and showers are newly remodeled and like new. Very nice hardware store a quarter mile or so walk, also bar and grill at the entrance to the marina.

Great Stop, 2015-09-19
Captain: , Seneca Lake NY (313)

Helpful & friendly staff
End docks offer a great view but little protection from wakes from the bay
Groceries, liquor, restaurants within an easy walk
Pet walk is a hike from the docks

Friendly but rolly, 2015-07-08
Captain: , Greenville SC (250)

We were treated well, given a car to get groceries, and had a nice slip on the end of a dock. The only problem is that many boats left for fireworks, and returned, making the night a rolly one.

Still a nice place to Stay, 2014-08-21
Captain: , Coxsackie (30)

Came back to Champlain Marina afer 17 years and it is still very nice and clean.. Would come back in a heartbeat. One of the nicest marinas on the lake
Everyone was very friendly and nice to us... very accomodating

Fine Marina, 2014-08-17
Captain: , Beach Haven NJ (150)

Helpful man in charge - go tied up fine. Made welcome. Very nice marina, well protected from all but a heavy nor'easter.

We'll be back for sure!, 2014-08-16
Captain: , Rochester, NY (200)

Stayed 2 nights and will look forward to going back. Marina is clean and well run. Staff is accommodating. Good restaurants, supplies and provisions nearby. Easy cab ride to Burlington with lots to do. Cove is very well protected and scenic.

First Class Operation, 2013-08-03
Captain: , Winter Garden, Fl (2153)

Great facility, great staff, nice area. Clean restrooms, large common room with kitchen, large picnic area w/gas grills, good ship's store, laundry, book goes on & on. They have 50 amp hookups, very clean water at each slip, modern/stable docks. Nice little grocery store (doesn't have everything, but alot) within walking with a liquor store, bank, ACE hardware, and an auto parts store all within a five minute walk.
A little bit of wake from the lake, but not bad compared to other marinas/anchorages in the area.

Friendly marina; first class operation, 2012-07-08
Captain: , Cape Coral, FL (1476)

Very nice marina with new docks. Gas & diesel and very small store on site; within walking distance to convenience store, liquor store, ice cream stand, hardware store and a couple of restaurants. Picnic areas under tents, complete with gas grills available for everyone's use. Bright and clean bathrooms and showers, two sets of new washers & dryers, inside meeting room, book swap. Very friendly and welcoming slip holders. All in all, a great stop on Lake Champlain.

good people, good facility, 2012-04-23
Captain: , Champlain Marina (56)

...something for everyone

Best Marina on Lake Champlain, 2012-01-29
Captain: , Malletts Bay, VT (10)

Very modern docks, with excellent shore facilities. Walking distance to groceries (Mazza's Store) and mairne supplies (Lakeshore Hardware & Marine). Also close by is Fox Marine for engiine repairs and Fiberglass Plus for the best in hull and deck work. A must stop for those doing the loop through Lake Champlain

Great Alternative to Burlington, 2010-08-10
Captain: , Wicomico Creek, MD (494)

Crystal clear water, swim off your boat in the slip. Hardware, grocery, a few eateries within walking distance. If you bike, a 2 mile drive to the #7 bus line with bike racks on the bus. $.60 gets you into the heart of Burlington for the day. Marina personnel treat you like family and the season slip holders welcome you in and include you in events.

Transient Friendly, 2008-08-15
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale, FL (429)

Well protected for all winds except northeast. 20 knot wind in any other direction, and you will sleep like a baby. Showers, fuel, trash, pet friendly. No outside gas cooking on boat, but free gas grills on shore and picnic facilities. 5 min. walk to marine hardware, liquor, grocery stores, pizza, ice cream stand and gym. I originally only gave three stars, but after looking at other 3 star marinas, I had to give it 4. This is a very transient friendly marina with.
