Reviews for Cesme Marina
Update September 2016, 2016-09-11
Captain: , Fremantle (325)

Good marina with all the facilities one expects from a 4 Star marina. It is also a unique location under the 14th century Genoese Cesme castle and a very convenient point to exit/enter Turkey to/from Chios.

Contrary to othr reviewers we found all of the staff friendly and helpful.

However it is ridiculously expensive; Euro93 for 13.6m (45ft) S/Y in September 2016.

marina is good personals are very bad, 2016-06-25

Cesme Marina - Convenient but Over Priced, 2013-05-08
Captain: , Carson City, NV (7181)

This is a very clean, modern marina and the most convenient place for clearing in and out of Turkey to/from Greece. However, it seems a bit expensive for what they have on offer. For example, there is no WiFi on the docks, and power and water are not included. For our 31-foot mono-hull, we paid about 40 euros/night plus power and water.

Wintered over here 2011-12, 2012-08-22
Captain: , Green Cove Springs, FL (1604)

We were in this marina from Sept 2011 to May 2102. We live aboard and to be fair, the marina dod not do anything special to make the few of us staying over welcomed. The boat repair servce at the marina is overpriced and the quality is good if you hound and supervise them. Docks are great. Showers are like you are standing under a water faul. Bathrooms are the best we have seen and experienced so far. Town is a 10_ minute walk away, but kind of dies in the off-season In the summer prices at restaurants, fast food places, grocery stares and makets are quite high, compared with the rest of Turkey. This town needs to make its money in the short summer season. Marina encourages you to moor your boat there for the winter, as long as you go somewhere else. All prices are in euros can be quite high.
