Reviews for CenterPointe Marina
Beautiful Marina, 2016-08-16
Captain: , Minneapolis, MN (37)

Really one of the nicest marinas we have been to. First rate, friendly and helpful staff, very well run. On arrival there were three guys there to catch our lines. When we needed to go to West Marine one of the staff gave us a ride in his own car. Highly recommend this marina, we will be back.

nicest marina 've seen, 2016-08-11
Captain: , Chicago (10)

everything is top notch. From the docks themselves to the clubhose, pool, fire place, service this is a premum place. I had a meeting 2 hours away on Monday. The cab, to take me to the rental car place, broke down and as a result I was not picked up on time. The marina staff immediatly gave me a ride to the rental car pickup. Top notch in all aspects!

Fabulous marina, 2015-08-31
Captain: , Essex, CT (1675)

Wish we could have stayed longer. This marina is amazing. The nicest boaters lounge we've ever seen -- like someones living room. And the rest of the marina was just as good. Someone put a lot of money into this place and it shows.

One of the best!, 2015-07-22

Center Pointe was probably our nicest stop all month. The marina is fantastic - clean, great employees, amazing boater's lounge, and the pool and hot tub are wonderful! Good shopping and dining within walking distance. No fuel on site, but the fuel dock directly across the channel, yacht harbor, had the cheapest gas we found on the entire trip at $2.80/gal! We will definitley stop here again!

Center Point Ship Yard, 2014-08-21
Captain: , Grand Haven, MI (674)

While at another marina I was looking for oil to have on board. Walking to West Marine or Walmart was to far. A local said the ship yard would help me out. They did. Though not accustom to counter sales they accomodated me and were very helpful. When told what they charged for oil which was $30+ for a gallon I almost choked. The lady called the local auto parts store and sold it for what they would be charged, plused waved the 2% credit card fee because I had to wait around. I was happy with my purchase and will go to Center Point Marina the next time into Sturgeon Bay. Plus they let me know they were a full service ship yard and would be able to accomodate any repairs if I needed. Another plus was the quick look at the new Palmer Johnson yacht being fitted out at the dock. It's gold! rummored to be in the 50 million range and going to a customer in Russia. All in all worth the two block walk from the other marina.

Best Marina We've Been To, 2013-08-22
Captain: , Green Bay, WI (400)

Worth the money - $2/foot 35 foot minimum (we have a 32' sailboat). Stayed 6 days in late July and looking forward to next time.Staff outstanding, indoor and outdoor pools and spas, great gas grills, clean as a whistle and easy walk to everything in town. Friendly people too.

Beautiful marina, private showers, extremely clean, very friendly staff. Swimming pool and hot tub for marina guests. Great Restaurants in town, especially liked John Martin's for dinner.

Awesome facilities, 2013-05-30
Captain: , Madison, WI (430)

3 nights and Andrew the Harbormaster cut the rate to $2.00/ft. Nice people and excellent accommodations. This might be the best marina we've slipped up in. Free ice. Free coffee, juice and donuts one morning, Individual bathrooms cleaned 5 times per day - amazing. Huge flat screen HDTV, 2 internet computers, fireplace and huge lounge.

We stayed here for a week and could not have been better looked after - in fact they gave us our 8th night free.

The facillities are top class and the staff were helpful at all times even providing transport to shops and rental cars when needed.

Right up there with Bay Harbor, 2011-10-28

We've stayed at a lot of marinas between Florida and the Great Lakes and without a doubt CenterPointe Marina is probably the nicest one.

They've got the best amenities package if you're family is looking for a fun and relaxing spot to stay for a while and is well worth the extra $10/night over the other marinas in town!

Great clubhouse with private bathrooms and a spectacular boater's lounge on the second floor overlooking the swimming pool and marina. If the weather is bad you can purchase a day pass for the indoor pool and fitness center which is great for the kids and health nuts.

The dockhands are eager to serve the guests in ever possible way including shuttle service to the grocery store and late night restaurant pick ups!

Pricey but nice, 2011-09-03
Captain: , Red Wing, MN (384)

Weekend dockage fee of $2.25 per foot is steep. Bathrooms are nice facilities and location are great. One would think that if you pay this kind of cash for a transient slip you shouldn't have fishermen all over the dock near your boat.

Nicest marina on this trip, 2010-08-09
Captain: , Milwaukee Yacht Club (90)

We spent 2 nights at centre pointe marina this week. It is quite possibly the nicest place we've stayed. Floating docks, private bathrooms, a pool and an easy walk to nice places in town. The entire staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The dinghy came in handy to go across to Sturgeon bay YC and out to a few little beaches toward the bay.

Nice Marina, 2010-01-04
Captain: , Green Bay, WI (179)

Very nice facilities and one of the best in the area (but you will pay for it). Close to downtown places to eat and activities. Dock hands were great and accomodating when we had a few boats to get in.

The docks are exposed gravel in concrete so they are hard on barefeet. Also, someone broke a bottle and were not able to completely clean up the glass because of the surface, so don't go barefooted.

Also, the bathrooms, while private, were fairly dirty the whole weekend we were there. The shower stalls step right out in front of the toilet. This was not appealing when the floor around the toilet was "dirty". Wait until later in the morning to shower to avoid this.

Very nice marina and clean facilities., 2009-07-27
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (1109)

This marina has very nice floating docks and prompt dockhands. Bath facilities are very clean with shower/toilet in individual private rooms. They also have a heated swimming pool to relax in. Very friendly atmosphere.

Best And Highest Class Marina In Sturgeon Bay, 2008-10-26
Captain: , Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin (324)

Being a slip holder at this marina. I have to say that is the most well run and well kept marina in Sturgeon Bay you will find. Many boater who are slip holders at other marina in the area stay at CenterPointe. If that does't tell you something about the marina.

A great place to stay!, 2007-07-23
Captain: , Bonita Springs, FL (411)

We like staying at this upscale marina. The staff, the pool and the hot tub are great.

The Best, 2007-07-12
Captain: , Winthrop Harbor, IL (60)

This may be the nicest marina that we have ever stayed at. Staff enormously friendly, caring. Facilities were not just clean, but spotless, from the boater's lounge with 60 inch plasma TV to the shower rooms and pool. Excellent location very close to town and many restaurants and bars. Access from Sturgeon Bay Shipping Canal could use some larger signage, but GPS waypoint listed here is dead on. Pick to click restaurants in town include the Inn at Cedar Crossing, and Perry's Cherry Diner (retro '50s fun). Ladders Sports Bar has more screens than you might imagine, including one over the urinals in the Men's Room ! There are a lot of other marinas in this area; unless Center Point is full, don't bother checking them out.

Centre Pointe Marina, 2007-01-19
Captain: , Sturgeon Bay, WI (42)

Centre Pointe Marina is a new marina (opened 2005) right in Sturgeon Bay, WI. The marina is located within a short walking distance to downtown Sturgeon Bay with plenty of shopping and dinning in the area. The Marina does have a pool, free wi-fi (at least I'm able to get it free from our marina across the canal), and a club house. Certainly the best located marina in Sturgeon Bay with the easy walk into town.
