Reviews for Catamaran Marina
A Helping Hand, 2017-04-30

The marina manager, Helen, was very helpful even though I was not a customer. The Chandlery contained many of the items we use on a regular basis.

Cannot recommend this marina. Ever., 2016-06-20

The previous reviews are still true; it is inexpensive, it is isolated from the cacophony of nightly activities of the east side. Although the dock hands were helpful, I cannot say anything else positive about this facility.

As if to say %u201Cwe don%u2019t like catamarans%u201D they med-moored (squeezed) us between two 60%u2019+ monohulls that were parked alongside finger piers, even though other larger areas were available. Thank goodness the wind wasn%u2019t blowing, or we might have damaged the other boats! The water only worked for a couple of hours and then did not run at all. We always pre-filter our water before discharging into the holding tanks and when I disassembled the filters (after our departure) the accumulated debris in the filters looked unsanitary. There is an on-site chandlery with exorbitant costs to go along with the convenience. This facility allows medium- to large-scale work to be performed at dock, so there was a lot of boat project work going on with associated equipment all over the docks. The docks were below average condition and subject to regular swell. Upon leaving the facility their credit card machine was broken. So they had me sign for my bill on an old carbon receipt form (of which, we had no problem doing). It was then that the facility manager (who exhibited text-book Tourette Syndrome) informed me in a loud voice that if my credit card didn%u2019t %u201Cgo through%u201D she would come find me and %u2018commit bodily harm to me%u2019. I%u2019m not going to provide an exact quote of what she ranted at me during my departure, but it was the most unprofessional boating experience of my life. Thank goodness there were no children within earshot. I was so stunned by her language that I forgot to get her name. I will never go back to this facility. Jolly Harbor has our business forever.

Don't like catamarans

The cheapest of the three, 2013-01-22
Captain: , glasgow (300)

Cheapest of the 3 in falmouth harbour, bit of a walk into town, stern to on wooden pier open to southerly swell

Where there is more decorum, 2009-09-04

A great place to hang out. a dingy ride across the harbor to the chaos of huge money and lots going on well into the night.
