Reviews for Caseville Municipal Dock
Great place to stop, 2011-08-17

We scooted into Caseville during a storm. Navigating the shoals left my nerves pretty frayed. The harbormaster Frank was excellent and talked us in over the VHF. Definitely stay in the middle of the channel. We need 6' of water and had no issue getting in but did find a small sandbar at exit. Once we arrived in the dockage we had two great folks meet us and tie us up. There was a $10 deposit (refundable) on bathroom keys. The docks are low and floating but very solid. The facilities were clean. We ended up spending several days waiting for a front/storm to pass. Everyone was extremely helpful and hospitable. If I ever found myself in this area again I would definitely stop in. The shoals (coming from the south) were brutal in 30+ kt wind. (forecast 8-10!) As we departed the harbormaster asked us to let him know we made it home safely. It felt like a little family situation there. We did happen into the Cheeseburger festival which was a little loud but amusing to walk through. The burgers at the Main Street Deli were great!

Very Pleasant Marina, 2007-06-17

This was our first visit to Caseville and what a surprise. The municipal marina took our 50' DeFever with ease, 50 amp service with 100 amp coming. Fuel, pump out, showers, bathrooms laundry, several restaurants and little shops are all within walking distance. Caseville is built around the harbor and it's deep enough for 60' boats. Harbor is well protected and quaint. A very enjoyable place to stay.
