Reviews for Carriacou Marine Ltd.
Good Service, 2017-08-23
Captain: , Boston (40)

Had a small electrical problem. Stopped here, marina staff directed me to an independent contractor who worked on site named Manny. He was more than happy to help despite having other work on his plate. Fair price. Nice little bar and grill for lunch while we waited. Marina let us stay right at the fuel dock while work was done.

Terrible facility wouldn't consider them doing any work of any kind, 2016-09-15
Captain: , St. John USVI (1305)

Stay away. Besides dishonest, shody facilities, security is major issue, and finding quality workers is next to impossible. They do offer some of the least expensive fuel once you have cleared out through customs. Diesel $7.70 per emp gal as of Sept 12, 2016. Immigration & Customs conveniently located next to marina. Cruisers seem to represent an inconvenience to staff as reflected in their attitude while doing their job.

Good Service - Use Caution Approaching, 2016-03-27
Captain: , Cape Elizabeth (494)

Small yard but good attitude - when he saw us coming in the fuel attendant came down to help us land on his lunch hour.

Customs and immigration are on site but you cannot check in while at the fuel dock. Immigration is fine but Customs clearly feels that checking people in is an imposition on her other priorities per the comments of another reviewer below.

The fuel attendant reports that over the past 12 months at least 24 boats have gone aground on the reef close to the boatyard, which reef is now underwater apparently as a result of storms. Also at a plus 1.2 foot tide our depth sounder read 6.9 feet approaching the fuel dock from the NE.

Duty paid diesel EC$11.40 /
gallon - water EC$0.25 / liter.

Had the bottom painted on our tender., 2015-03-27

Without planning ahead they quickly(same day) fit repaint the bottom paint on our 21' center console. parts needed arrived the next morning and the got us launched quickly.

Haul-Out 2013, 2013-11-30
Captain: , Key Largo (127)

We hauled out in Tyrrell Bay to do bottom painting. The crew and Edwin were fantastic! They tended to our every need and were there with smiles on every day. If the chandlery does not have what you need, they can get many things by ferry often the same day. Top notch operation for do it yourself yard work - OR - they can do it for you. We will haul out here again if we are anywhere close!

great haul out facility, 2013-01-26
Captain: , miami,fl (2241)

went in for a rountine haul out for bottom paint -- the folks could not have been nicer -- it is a working yard and run by terrel with edwin the yard manager - edwin is an expert on a lot of boat exterior work and a wonder with the travel lift -- if it can happen edwin can make it happen --
he gave us good advise and as were discovered a way to remove some old stripping came over and we learned together - the guys who worked for edwin are good at what they do and do quality work -- the prices would simply amaze you
terrel built a small sandwich shop, has a small island water world chandler on site and can gey you what ever you need the next day, and is currently adding a bar and bbq pit along with other improvements
while being on the hard is not always a pleasure these folks made it a pleasure -- we will haul out here again
