Reviews for Cape Canso Marina
Small but complete, 2016-07-22
Captain: , York, ME (1880)

This is a small marina and RV park with all the basic services, including 30A electric, water, basic shoreside facilities and a great location. No WiFi. Friendly staff loaned us a car to go to the Co-Op grocery, but it closed at 6 PM and we missed it. Good option for only $0.80/ft. (cash only.)

Refuge in the Fog, 2015-09-11
Captain: , Deer Isle, Maine (514)

We ducked in here when dense fog blocked our passage around the Cape. There were no other transients here at the time, so there was plenty of room. There was plenty of depth at the floating docks and 110V AC and water was easily accessible. It was perhaps a ˝ mile walk into town, where there is a museum and a bakery/café. We did not have time to explore further, but would be inclined to come back when we did.

Marina is Excellent for this area, 2010-10-16
Captain: , North Myrtle Beach, SC (3210)

Very safe place to spend the night, wait out weather, etc. Staff is great. Piers too. 50 Amp Power even.

A fine Spot in Gods Country, 2010-08-19
Captain: , Barnegat NJ USA (610)

This is a well run operation owned by old timer Don and the local pharmacist Gary. The facility is easy of access and the operations man Mike is a pleasure to meet and work with. Canso itself is well worth a stop and is perhaps the most convenient stop in the area for yachts heading to and from the Lakes on Cape Breton. There are markets and a few other attractions to pass the time.
