Reviews for Canoe Point
Great state park, 2015-08-25
Captain: , Gananoque ,Ontario Canada (288)

We stayed here August 2015 and they have a section for 30ft plus boats which will accomodate 45ft. There is min of 6ft of depth at these slips There is no power but generator use is permitted. There is a beach area to swim and ice is available. The restrooms have running water and showers (usually pretty clean). You are well protected from the wakes on the 30ft docks for vessels heading south east, however all bets are off coming from the other direction. This park is only accessible from the water and offers nice trails to walk. There is a horsehoe pit as well. This is now a regular stop for us.

veru scenin but no swimming, dock in bad repair, 2014-08-18
Captain: , Montreal (243)

We stayed one night and didi enjoy our stay. Ice is available. However there is no place available for swimming and the main dock for boats > 30' was in bad repair. only 1 finger dock remained, the other had either sunk or were broken.

We may come back next year to see if things have improved.

Fourth of July fun, 2012-07-04
Captain: , Pultneyville ny (21)

We took out 23 foot sailboat, and friends brought their 25 foot sailboat, and we enjoyed the docks. There is an awesome trail-shore and camp-like faclities. Ice is available on-shore as well as fire-pits. We stayed a few days before the fourth of july and there were pleanty of open dockspace.
