Reviews for Caney Creek Marina
Great Place but........., 2016-05-12
Captain: , Currently Living on Tennessee River (180)

I hate to be the one to lower the rating but....It's a great place, great staff and it's everything that everyone else is saying. The down side is that it runs parallel to a well traveled 2 lane road. If you are inside your boat, you wont hear anything except motorcycles and semis'. When outside your boat, you are definitely aware of the traffic. For a one night stand or a few days R&R, it would be great, but not for a long term stay.

good very clean and well taken care of Marina, 2014-07-21

They put us in a 70 foot slip in a very nice dock. Very good security very clean restrooms. The gas dock pub was very good and had a interesting menu. Very full of character. Good but not great place to walk the dogs. But they didn't care.

Great marina. Super open air bar and grill. Friendly folks. Mike, the grill manager, met us at our arrival and welcomed us. Harbor master Rob stopped by and also welcomed us. All you can eat catfish on Thursdays. Bands on the weekends. We will be back!

I have docked our boat at Caney Creek Marina for two summers. Covered floating slips are very protected with 30 and 50 amp electricity, water, pumpout at each slip. WiFi is weak unless you are near the ships store (I'm not). Valvetech gas at $3.99, no diesel. Clean restrooms and showers, laundry, outdoor bar and grill with live music (this is Tennessee, after all) on Friday and Saturday evenings. There is a pool at the RV park across the bay which is also owned by the same folks that own the marina. No service on site but they will contact a mechanic to come to the marina.
Doug, manager, lives on a houseboat at the marina. Richard is the assistant manager. Both are great guys.

Just spent two nights relaxing here. Not during tourist season, so the grill was closed, but everything was very nice. Docked right beside new shower rooms and this was very nice. Very quiet at night and no wake that far back in the cove. Great Time!

Rob is a great Harbormaster and has turned this marina into an active, clean waterfront community. Restaurant is nice, fast service, simple tasty fare. The adjcent RV park has a community room and pool that can be used by Marina residents.
