Stayed one night and enjoyed the visit. Ate dinner in the yacht club dining room and had great crabcakes. Easy access and 10 ft depth. Nice, clean facilities; will stay here again.

Thi is now our third visit. We decided to stay here for a month. We had the boat hauled locally for a powerwash and then. move to the yacht club as our base of exploration on the upper Bay. The Thursday Farmers market has great produce. We bike to the Food Lion if we need provisions. Club members are glad to give you a lift too. Initially we were invited to stay at this club even though we do not belong to any club. They are very welcoming to guests. The town is great and has become a destination for foodies.

We had a nice visit to the Cambridge Yacht Club. Linda, the Rear
Commodore was very pleasant and answered all our questions. The docks are fixed wood but in pretty good condition. We were on a T-dock facing the bay and even though there is only a floating dock to block the wakes we were quite comfortable. The bathroom and showers are way better than average.
John the bartender was excellent as well as was all the staff. The food was very good and the price was reasonable. The wi-fi was weak and unusable, but at times we could pirate from the municipal marina. Its a ways up to Cambridge, but I'd go back, for sure.

Nice place from which to see Cambridge, 2012-10-09

We came in for just one night in early October; quiet due to time of year but what members we saw were very friendly. Couldn't find the club manager to pay our dock fee, finally found a bartender in the evening who took payment. We were on the end of a T-dock when a strong front went through with 30 knot gusts from the northeast - stayed quiet in the basin. Secure, quiet location, easy walk into town to Maritime Museum and Harriet Tubman museum. We found 30 amp service on the dock; not just 50 amp.

Friendly staff. Well cared for property. Electric hookup is 15, 20, 30 & 50 amp. Short walk into town with several bars & restaurants. Our favorite was Leaky Pete's Oyster & Wine Bar.

We spent 10 days here and they were very helpful. Nice bar, TIKI bar and restaurant. Prices are good and members very helpful and friendly.
Lots of wave action when the crab boats go out in the morning. Kind of rock and rolly, but a nice place.

The only power available here is the new standard for marinas - 50amp/125-250v outlets. If your boat uses one or two 30amp/125v plugs, you will need a Y-adaptor. The marina has some to lend and would not be a problem in most situations. We have a large group (70 trawlers) meeting there for a rendezvous in Sept 2008 and a lot of folks are scrambling to find adaptors.

Very nice club. Great bar and restaurant. Thursday is burger night. Fantastic burgers. Staff is very attentive. One minor problem, not their fault, is that there is not a no wake zone out in the river from the club. They have a breakwater but it is ineffective, Not for those prone to seasickness.
