Reviews for Camachee Yacht Yard
Prop work and bracket. 3/2016, 2016-03-18
Captain: , Solomons, MD (1290)

The best of the best. Can't say enough good things about the whole team. Keith, Drew, Billy, Vernon and Cathy. They were all better than great. Drew did a short sea trail the next mroning after the work was complete. Amazingl knowlegeable. Lucky for us that we were in this area. Thanks you so much CYY. Carolyn

Great service, 2015-09-10
Captain: , Mayport Florida (292)

Very reliable and professional service. Had the boat hauled for one week to have 2 coats of new bottom paint applied. The yard went out of its way to acquire the specific paint I wanted. In and out of the water exactly as scheduled. Paid the exact estimated costs. No hidden fees or surprises. Good experience, I'll haul at Comachee again!

It takes a lot for me to give someone 5 stars. I wish I could give them six, 2015-06-05
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (98)

I called when arriving today around 2:00 and ask for help with my steering. Keith told me that he'd try to free up a technician which he did. Drew arrived 20 minutes later and had the problem solved within an hour. Not only did he fix it but he went to great pains to explain to me how the system operates and what do look out for in the future. My bill was very reasonable. Great people!

Knowledgeable with Excellent Service, 2015-05-01
Captain: , Westerly, RI (50)

Arrived at 4:30 pm on April 21st with a Northern Lights Generator problem. Our technician, Drew, was on our boat by 8:00 am, trouble shooted the problem, fixed it, and we were on our way by noon. We highly recommend this facility. They are knowledgeable, efficient with reasonable pricing. We will return.

Great Yard, 2015-04-08

Keith (service mgr) Drew the mechanic did what the said they would do. Fair price. Highly recommend good work. Nice folks. Had rear main seal replaced in 5 days back on the water. No leaks!

Great service, they go the extra mile, 2015-02-17
Captain: , St. Augustine,FL (231)

Had a Major insurance claim for lightning damage handled by them last summer. Can't say enough about the whole staff, very professional and they really went the extra mile to trace down parts for my French built Beneteau. My thanks to Peter, Keith, Cathy and the whole gang.

Great service and price, 2014-10-21
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (366)

I came here to get the impeller on my Northern Lights generator replaced. Keith did a great job setting up the appopintment. Very professional. Billy did a fast change out repair and checked a few other things.
These people are very talented AND honest. Would come back to them in a heartbeat.

Efficient and Cost Effective, 2014-03-20
Captain: , Oriental, N.C. (352)

We tied-up on Sunday evening and had called ahead to have a tech look and our engine alternators and regulator. The Tech showed-up at 7:30 am (as agreed), verified the lack of output, pulled the alternators for a bench test, and put a regulator on order (just in case). The bench tests came back OK, and Tuesday morning the new regulator was installed, tested and working great. It could not have been done more efficiently or professionally and at a fair price on short notice.

Excellent service, 2013-11-25
Captain: , Halifax NS (52)

We came in to get our cutlass bearing replaced. It was done efficiently and the staff was very friendly. The job was done at the end of the day so when we were put back in the water they let us stay on the dock beside the lift. We also left our hard dingy there to get some glass work. I would defiantly use their services again as I found them to honest and caring.

Dinghy Davit Installation, 2012-12-13
Captain: , Tipers Creek, VA (20)

We had our dinghy davits installed about 2 weeks ago, and Peter Sabo and his crew were great. The project had its challenges (as all boat projects do) but Peter, who was hands-on himself for the majority of the time, met and overcame all of them. The davits are beautifully installed and as strong as one couild hope for, and the final invoice was actually under the estimate by a significant amount! Everyone at Camachee Cove was helpful and friendly and we would not hesitate to recommend the yard or the marina to anyone.

Great Service, 2012-06-12
Captain: , Snug Harbor, RI (30)

Tech was on my boat @0730, took raw water pump off. Fixed all
seals in shop. Pump was reinstalled & operational before 1000.
Parts were overnighted. Bill was less than @ my home marina!

Speedy service, 2012-03-31
Captain: , Red Lion, DE (712)

2012-03-30 Pulled into the maina at 12:20 pm during lunch hour and had the repair to my 50 amp power cord completed and back in service at 1:25 pm! Can't beat that for service. All of the personel were friendly and accommodating, except for the gal who took my payment in the yard office - not at all customer friendly!

Excellent service, 2010-04-14
Captain: , Dallas Tx (539)

We had excellent service and support during and extensive repair. Staff was very knowledgable and quickly solved difficult problems.

Very Professional Service, 2009-07-22
Captain: , South Portland, ME (537)

I had a steering issue just as I was entering Commache Cove Yacht Harbor. I had the Commache Cove Yacht Yard do the repair work. They were outstanding. Very knowledgeable and very professional. The work was done rapidly. I srongly recommend them for service work.

Honest Yard, 2007-11-30
Captain: , Ft. Myers (376)

They did what they said they were going to do , when they said they were going do it and at a reasonable price.

Good Well Run Facility, 2007-02-11
Captain: , Miami (53)

Nice Docks, Good Service, Good Yard, Employee owned, Protected, close to historic St. Augustine & restaurants, plenty depth, a little tricky getting in - tides push you hard as you transition from the ICW to the cut into the marina , if you go too slow and the currents are running you have to give some throttle, it is better to go in a little quicker and keep the line.
