Approach

Mind the approach markers which are red/green pipes. A Hazard Mark for a submerged rock is confusing and almost in the marked channel. Be prepared for weeds in the heat of the summer.

Reviews for CFB Trenton Yacht Club
I love this place for the People, 2013-10-09
Captain: , Barrie (103)

Stayed one night on June 20th, 2013. I made a trip up the Trent. We needed to take the stick down in preporation. I had just bought the boat and had never done this before so was concerned. I recieved loads of assistance from the staff and the resident boat owners. The place is associated with the military and is cash only. A couple of the resident boaters went out of thier way to drive me to the bank to get cash to pay the bill which was very reasonable. They also insisted on showing me to the local mess hall and recommending we eat there. We did eat there in the morning and it was very good and very cheap. It is a military mess hall so your eating with the army guy's. They where all very nice to us also. If I lived in the area this is where I would keep my boat. Very friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and in good working order.

Friendly, clean and beautiful, 2011-08-01

The CFB Trenton Yacht Club has a gregarious and friendly membership who are willing to chat, help and advise about their club, the boats, and the lovely Bay of Quinte. Dock Stewards are well trained and courteous.
Good reciprocals with Lake Ontario Clubs. Reasonable rates but no water on the dock.

CFB Trenton YC, 2009-03-03
Captain: , Whitby (1653)

One of the beter clubs on the lake. The summer dock stewards are often ex-air cadets. They are sharp, respectful and very capable. Docks are simple but sturdy. Facilities are simple but clean.
Be sure to have a meal at Yukon Galley on the base. Good food, excellent value.
