Reviews for Buoy 39 Marina
Not a place I would frequent, 2013-06-02

Poorly maintained facility and owner has a temper.

With one of the best places on the lake to buy gas, this is a good place to make a stop. The weekend I stayed (August 5-7) was quiet at night, and the scenery with a view of Fort Ticonderoga was inviting. Personnel were friendly and very courteous. Rest rooms were on the quaint side, but serviceable. Docks are only get two-star rating from me, however. As I understand it, services are fairly available, with light-duty maintenance available as well as haul outs (for most boats my size and smaller, although the superstructure on my boat would preclude me from using this as a haul-out location), winter storage and winterization, and gas sales. Diesel is not available. No breakwater exists, so make sure your fenders are in good shape, and deployed well.

A Cessna 180 on floats landed, water-taxied and fueld up while I was there, which was also a treat.
