Reviews for Bud N' Mary's Fishing Marina
Unprofessional captain, 2015-05-06
Captain: , port canaveral (30)

While my wife and friend were snorkeling at Alligator Reef, a large charter boat with a Bud and Mary's wrap on it, pulled into the Marine Sanctuary Area ( clearly maked with yellow buoys), right between our boat and my wife in the water and started casting their rods. When I suggested they shouldn't be fishing there, the captain started hollering he's lived here all his life and asked me where I was from, as if apparently he owns the reef more than me. He screamed at me to read the rules, which I did later that day. Apparently, Alligator reef is one of four reefs where you can troll and catch and release. However, I don't think a prudent captain with any kind of professionalism would steer his boat into an area full of snorkelers and allow his customers to start throwing in rods with hooks....and then start screaming at the top of his lungs in front of all of his clients to defend his right to do so.

Focus is fishing, not elegence., 2014-03-12
Captain: , Key Colony Beach (130)

Waited a long time to get help at the fuel dock, treated rather poorly in my humble opinion. Seems like we did something wrong.

Recommending Captain Rick, 2013-03-30
Captain: , Sue Creek-Harrington Creek (337)

Travelled to Islamorada in March 2013. Chartered Captain Rick for Tarpon and he absolutely delivered. The staff is friendly and knows their stuff.

Mostly charter fishing boats, 2012-02-25
Captain: , currently Plantation Yacht Harbor, Islamorada, Fla. Keys (4407)

small marina that is primarily devoted to its charter fleet. Narrow and shoaling channel, so call ahead for local knowledge.

Cautious entry, 2009-05-06
Captain: , Vancouver BC (500)

Good facility but be really carefull if entering on low tide, call ahead when entering channel for updated info.

Homey Marina, 2009-04-17
Captain: , Hite, Utah (15667)

These friendly, helpful people are really into fishing. While I was there to pick up some fuel and have a battery charged there were 4 and 5 foot long tarpon swimming at the fuel dock.
