Reviews for Bucksport Plantation Marina and RV Resort
Nice little marina, 2017-07-14
Captain: , Houston TX (182)

I stopped here because of the previous reviews. A great stop. It is far from everything but we had boat issues so we rented a car. The dock is fixed and a little bit high at low tide. Tide was no more than 3 foot when we were here. Loved this place. I highly recommend it.

Low cost but docks too high, 2017-07-08
Captain: , Charleston, SC (250)

Great quiet place at reasonable prices. However, the height of the fixed docks are so high that getting on and off docks was difficult. Bought some sausage but haven't tried it yet.

Great First Stop!, 2017-05-17
Captain: , Essex, CT (1245)

An easy stop off the ICW for great diesel price (under $2/gal.) & inexpensive dockage ($.75/ft. + power). Jeff was very hospitable & told us of his many expansion plans. Restaurant was closed our night, but he offered a ride to other nearby ones. Bought some of their famous sausage, but haven't tried it yet.

Definitely give them a try!

A lot to like, 2017-05-05
Captain: , Cape Canaveral (1191)

We stopped here for the first time and are glad we did. Good depth under our 4' draft trawler, easy in and easy out with very helpful dock staff, great diesel price and quiet the weeknight we were there. New upgrades are planned which could turn Bucksport into a desitination transient stop. We'll be back in the fall

Easy in/out, very nice folks, 2017-04-26
Captain: , Port Aransas, TX (1453)

Stayed 4/20. Fueled up at $2.18 with BoatUS discount and stayed 1 night free. Dock was a big step up at low tide. Restrooms were adequate; didn't use laundry. On-site restaurant having grand opening - above average food and decent house wines. Lovely views of the river. Most passing boats observed no wake zone. This is a very busy place.

Great spot right on ICW, 2017-04-25
Captain: , Halifax Nova Scotia (92)

Stopped at Bucksport Marina on our way North. Jeff the owner is very pleasant to deal with, we stayed 3 nights. .75 ft and 50 amp additional 6.00 a night with boatus . Believe the Restaurant is open Thurs to Sunday and was offered a ride in town for provisions. Great spot will be back again.

up and coming, 2017-04-24
Captain: , Boca Raton, FL (1522)

I stopped here because i heard that they had the best fuel prices. When i stopped i met the owner. This marina is in a perfect place for those traveling but do not want to stay in other, more touristy types of places. As he improves the size and layout of the marina, it will become a great place to stop and if nothing else, get fuel at a great price.

Vaughan E. Taylor, 2017-02-08
Captain: , Beaufort, NC (451)

This is the best deal on the entire Atlantic ICW!
It is a beautiful marina, which is under the new ownership of the former manager, who will do anything to make your stay great. The entire facility is in good shape, in spite of Hurricane Mathew, and the river is spectacular for beauty and wildlife. The laundry and showers are fine, and soon the Captain's lounge will reopen, along with an onsite restaurant. The people here will make sure your stay is absolutely fantastic! This is a must stop!!!

Fantastic Marina. Great Customer Service , 2016-12-14
Captain: , Confetti, Kadey Krogen (1719)

Jeff and his son Jeffrey are wonderful. Very helpful as we pulled in and made sure we were happy with the services. Easy in and out for our 39' trawler with 4'6" draft. Have extra fenders out for the fuel dock due to pilings on the dock. Docks are very well maintained and they are getting ready to expand in the next 2-3 yrs. Best fuel prices around and a discount for Boat US and MTOA. Also free pump out. We have docked here previously and found this to be a wonderful stop on the ICW.

Southern hospitality at its finest, 2016-12-04
Captain: , Washington, NC (470)

Great fuel price, easy in and out, and wonderful facilities under repair after Matthew, along with the outstanding people made this fuel stop delightful. We were so impressed that we made a reservation to keep our boat here for the summer on our return trip. Jeff and the crew are some of the finest people we've encountered.

A great stop, 2016-11-27
Captain: , Pedricktown (50)

In my obviously low budget, though meticolously maintained 28 foot traditional cutter BLackbird, I took all of 16 gallons of fuel, yet I was treated like a mega yacht. There are great folks here and Jeff and company are the most personable people. I will be stopping here on my way back up the waterway in the spring

Friendliest folks on the ICW, 2016-11-26
Captain: , shelter island (20)

Big job of repairing this marina after Mathew flooding is proceeding admirably. Hardest working group. I came in on Thanksgiving day at 4 p.m. - interupting Jeff's (owner ) dinner. He came down and helped me in and then invited me to share dinner with his family and friends. Amazing meal and great company. I will be planning my return in the spring to coincide with one of the many activities they have planned.
I rated this marina 5 stars- although renovations are ongoing, their hospitality earns them the extra.

Best transient dockage price., 2016-11-25
Captain: , Findlay, OH (216)

This place has a $0.75 per ft price for AC members that includes 50 amp. Good diesel price too. Plenty of depth. Restaurant undergoing serious repair as a result of Hurricane Matthew. Snack store / office had a flood line a few feet up the front of the counter but the place was clean. Re-Max sign on the building makes me wonder though.

bucksport marina, 2016-11-20
Captain: , Brooksville (40)

very friendly and helpful people, reasonable prices on everything 5 star

Recovering From Matthew, 2016-11-14
Captain: , Vero Beach, FL (907)

New owner Jeff met us on the dock to catch lines; very informative & helpful. Restaurant is still closed by flood damage. Ships store has no replacement coolers yet. Wifi is back on. Jeffrey, the owner's son, drove us to town for LP and groceries. There is a ordinarily a large and busy RV campground as part of the facility, now mostly empty due to the hurricane evacuation.
As it was, we had a quiet night with the basic services needed.

Very cordial, 2016-10-24
Captain: , Erie, Pa. (1896)

Recovering from Matthew when we stopped on 10-23-16. Water was about 4 feet higher than normal, docks in great shape, could not charge as machines for credit were not working, electric was on and worked well, 235 volts to the boat, 21 feet of water at dock. super cordial staff. Very happy to have us stay at no charge.

Our kind of marina, 2016-06-26
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (1381)

Face dock spot $27 for our 36' boat! Plus, all the amenities we need. Air conditioned showers, good restaurant on site and very helpful staff. We'll be back. Would be 5 stars if we could have dined with our pooch on their restaurant deck.

The Staff Make You Feel Welcome, 2016-05-26
Captain: , Philadelphia, Pa. (201)

Very friendly staff, good ships store and the Marina manager (Jeff) was extremely helpful. Shortly after we arrived the owners son (Jeffrey) asked my wife if she needed to go anywhere? When she told him no he was visibly disappointed. The staff can't be beat! The docks are floating and there is a Resturant "Captain Seaweeds" that wasn't bad. I will definitely be stopping there again.

Super friendly and everything we needed very reasonable prices., 2016-05-23
Captain: , Montgomery MN (171)

Our overnight slip with 30 amp power was $16. Clean showers, coin op laundry and a free courtesy ride into town for groceries. Jeff and his son Jeffery are working hard to build up their business. They took very good care of us and we are sure they will take take good care of you too.

Concrete Idea , 2016-04-26
Captain: , Danville, PA (30)

Just recently stayed at the marina where the new owner Jeff and his son Jeffrey took great care of us. The improvements they have made at the marina are perfectly suited to boaters. Boaters lounge with pool table and big-screen TVs. Laundry was wonderful, and courtesy car to town was exceptional. All in all a great place to stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone. The price was right at $.75 a foot.

nice stop good transient rates, 2016-04-23
Captain: , Baltimore (50)

Friendly staff. Nice courtesy run in to town for supplies with Jeffery.

Off the beaten path, 2016-04-09
Captain: , Wilmington NC (400)

Stopped through again on 3/27-28/2016. Can never stay one day. Had a nice grocery run with Jeffrey. Will always be a stop. Not to mention the local packed sausage.
12/31/15 Called Jeff to let him know I was on the way. He said hurry up for the College Bowl games and New Years Eve party. Now the weather has changed and I'm still here waiting for better weather. No where else I have to be so why leave. Just great folks.
5/18-20/15 Jeff and Lisa were awesome. Not sure what everyone is looking for but I like the quiet laid back attitudes. Easy in and out. Lots of snacks and drinks in the ship store. Lots of dog walking room. Lots of nice locals fishing to chat with. Really quiet at night. Capt Seaweeds Resturant on site (closed Monday) is under new management and expanding their menu. Had an excellent grilled fish sandwich and some fried pickles. Will be a regular stop.

Favorite stop, 2016-03-15
Captain: , Sanibel (195)

We were there on 3-6-16 The marina is located in an ancient cypress swamp, when the bar is not open( weekends) it is one of the quietest places on earth. If you yell you can hear your echo. The conway sausage sold at the store is second to none.Grate place to fill your water tanks. No courtesy car but owner will take you to shopping. Nicer people you will never meet. With boat US discount .75 a foot. Stay 2 nights for the price of 1.

What a great stop!, 2016-01-29
Captain: , Colchester VT (380)

Stopped here so we could get power (for a cold night) and take the dog to shore. This is a wonderful maraina, right on the ICW and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The price is right too!! $.75 per ft with Boat US membership. We had the entire place to ourselves - no one else is out here on the ICW! We will stop here on our way home - for sure!

A great stop on the ICW, 2016-01-12
Captain: , Norfolk, Va (195)

Arrived and Jeff helped us tie up. We were on the side to in fromt of the resturant which is closed. Boat US 0.75 per foot plus 0.10 off on fuel. Electric is extra. Good wifi. 2 new dryers just added. Was given a ride to the store and a good resturant afterwards to the food lion.. Jeffry ,the son, gave us the ride and came in and ate with us. Fantastic food and very inexpensive. Jeff made us feel at home. Weather changed and wound up staying another day.

an easy convenient stop, 2015-12-10
Captain: , Halifax, NS (111)

Most reasonable stop between Halifax and West Palm, very good service by marina staff. A dining experience

Stop. Definately worth it!, 2015-12-08
Captain: , Marathon (91)

This is a no brainer. inexpensive dock and fuel with super nice people.Jeff a nd his son will take care of you and who else has put put on their dock?

Great place with a Great Thanksgiving dinner., 2015-11-29
Captain: , Apponaug R.I. (908)

A free home cooked Turkey dinner was included with your dock fee on Thanksgiving. Additionally with BoatUS pricing it was less than $1. per ft. Great docks, good electric, free pump out, coutresy car and driver, friendly competent service and a restaurant and fun bar on site. The restrooms could use some updating. The manager has only been here for 1 1/2 years. He is making great improvements. We will schedule a stop here on our trip North next year.

Why did we wait so long to stop here?, 2015-11-26
Captain: , Carlyle, IL (364)

We've passed by this marina on multiple occasions and said, "We should stop there some time." but it was always too early to stop from our previous stop. This time as we passed by early on Thanksgiving day, Jeff hailed us on the radio and told us about their $.75 per foot Boat US dockage with a free Thanksgiving dinner. What a pleasant surprise! Nice facilities and well maintained. A beautiful large deck with seating outside the restaurant and a lovely view of the Waccamaw. Can't say enough good about this place. We'll definitely make it a stop in the future.

Very welcoming and accomidating marina, 2015-11-25
Captain: , Annapolis MD (40)

We stopped here because of impending weather and to get fuel and a pump out. Jeff, the dockmaster, was welcoming and helpful in getting us settled. Because the weather was forecast to last for two days we wanted to do oil and filter changes as well a other minor maintenance. Jeff said he could dispose of the used oil.

The following moring we were informed of the death of one of our closest friends. We ended up leaving the boat for nine days. Jeff's son took us to the airport for car rental and when we returned Jeff picked us up and brought us back to the marina.

To top it off, Jeff reduced the already low transient rate by 25%. The marina is in the process of making upgrades but there's no way to update the kindness we were shown.

Great Stop With Cheap Gas, 2015-11-24
Captain: , Dewey Beach, Delaware (121)

We got caught up in a nasty storm right near here and ended up staying the night. Very cheap Marina with nice facilities. The offered to drive to restaurant near by but we declined. Would definitely stop again

Up and coming marina, 2015-11-04
Captain: , London (709)

New owners gradualy upgrading everything, still lots to do but an inexpensive stop on the way north or south.
We stayed here two weeks ago and there was a band on in the covered lounge, they were great and made the night for us
Its the perfect place to stop going north or south on the ICW as its right the on the bend in a no wake zone

Gem on the ICW, 2015-11-01
Captain: , Hampton NH (70)

Not sure why this marina doesn't deserve Active Captain First Choice. Easy access off the ICW with no channel or turning basin to negotiate. spectacular view (probably the best on the ICW) across the Waccamaw River from the 800' face dock wth no other boats to obstruct it, hugely accommodating owner/manager Jeff Weeks and his son Jeffrey along with assistant Andy who can't do enough for the visiting transient, including multiple trips to local stores, clean well maintained facilities including a spacious well-equipped captains lounge, waterfront on-site restaurant with good local bands in the open air pavilion next door to it on weekends.

Came for two days - stayed for five. 'Nuff said.

every for 2 days stayed 4 5 period nuff said.

Great, relaxing stop, 2015-09-14
Captain: , Yorktown, VA (972)

We stayed 3 nights over Labor Day, enjoying our stay. Jeff was great getting us tied up, situated, and keep a handle on everything. We enjoyed Captain Seaweeds and the live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
We meet some great people at Captain%u2019s and also at the RV Park.
We needed to go to the Urgent Care and one of the great couples in an RV loaned us their car to drive 15 miles into Conway to see the doctor and get our prescription.
Very friendly, nice docks and a great break.
We did buy the sausage which was great. Note: The spicy is great but it is not Italian spicy which we were expecting. Definitely worth buying.

Staff helpful and ensured everything was satisfactory., 2015-09-07
Captain: , Seven Oaks, South Carolina (245)

Jeff and Andy caught our lines as we came in and helped us tie up. Afterwards they got the cook to come in and prepare us a good meal, though the restaurant was closed. And they checked on us frequently to ensure our satisfaction. Nice and peaceful here, though an occasional high-speed boat would pass, though with minimal wake. No problem with electric supply. Could not get the WiFi to allow us to connect though.

A Diamond in the Rough, 2015-09-07
Captain: , Hollywood (462)

We were going to anchor off at Ox Bow but this place was so inviting we couldn't resist an overnight. To give you an idea of their attitude it was Labor Day Monday and they opened the restaraunt to provide us dinner. Beyond reasonable dockage, a beautiful sunset on a lazy bend in the river; idyllic. Warm and friendly locals and a great price. Give this place a try.

What a bargain, 2015-06-15
Captain: , St Louis (1085)

We stopped here on a hot June trip down the ICW. Jeff & another employee greeted us and were very competent. Paid 0.75/ft +$6 for electricity, water, laundry, very good wifi, bathrooms (semi-private, acceptable and air conditioned) with a good restaurant (order the grilled shrimp plate) and a small ship store with snacks, soda & ice cream. After fueling & pump out, we moved back into a slip. This is a very busy recreational boating area on the weekends but we had the place to ourselves on Monday (restaurant closed).

great deal!, 2015-05-21
Captain: , Petoskey MI (327)

We docked here one night on our way north. At 75 cents per foot, such a bargain!! The staff and locals are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. The dockside restaurant was a good option for lunch. Very pretty stretch on the ICW. If you're looking for a first class facility, this isn't the place, but if you're looking for a well run facility with friendly folks at bargain prices, give it a try.

We stayed on a fixed face dock. Might be a little high for some boats-especially at low tide. Fortunately tides run less than 3 feet. There are a few floating docks.

very accommodating , 2015-04-23
Captain: , Silver Bay (51)

Pulled into Buckstop Plantation for a one night stay and ended up staying two. Jeff took over the Marina a year ago and is restoring the facility to its old splendor. Very easy approach and the service is way over the top. Jeff took two of us to Walmart after hours and the weekly free home cooked meal was excellent. I'll stop again!

Good day stop, 2015-03-06
Captain: , Hampton, VA (271)

Good stop for lunch or dinner. Easy in and out. Some dockage by the restaurant but bigger boats get to dock in a slip.

Overnight Stay, 2015-01-05
Captain: , Palm Coast, Fl (91)

Very easy to get docked. Friendly people. I heard there was a crime rate here, but we didn't see any and hadno problems the time we were there.

Good stop out of the hustle and bustle, 2014-12-27
Captain: , Iotta Louisiana (404)

Traveling south during the holidays, hard to find anyone working the docks anywhere in the Grand Strand.. Bucksport Marina was a refreshing exception.

After being unable to fuel at northerly facilities on the day after Christmas, called Jeff to see if Bucksport was open, and the answer was "All day, every day. If you will be in after 5 call back, and I will wait for your arrival.

Nice docks with plenty of water, not the best fuel price in the Strand, but the 75 cents per foot overnight (off season) and the service made up for it. Plus they were actually open and happy for our business, On site restaurant had a good crowd and was a good time.

A hidden gem amongst the big players, No provisions, but a great stop none the less

Try the home made sausage, 2014-11-23
Captain: , Ft. Lauderdale (70)

Jeff stayed late to make sure we were tied up and had all the details. The lace is clen and accomodating. Will return!

Wonderful Stop, 2014-11-15
Captain: , Chapin, South Carolina (410)

We put our boat in at this Marina and stayed one night at the docks - mostly 50 amp towers. Jeff, manager, was very accommodating and helped us get set up. They had a bonfire and barbecue and chicken bog for folks staying at the Marina and RV area. Clean, warm showers and nice laundry facility Great people, nice marina

Power/Dock Issue, 2014-08-24
Captain: , Daniel Island, SC (330)

Now reopened, there's need for improvement. A high side tie dock makes boarding difficult in low tide. 50 Amp service failed forcing us to leave after receiving a refund. Ironically the marina is now owned by folks in the electric business and the dockmaster told us he didn't think he could get someone out "at this time of day" to change out the breaker. It was 2pm on a Wednesday.

Great place to stop, Robert the dockmaster is awesome, 2014-07-14
Captain: , Bethlehem, PA (736)

Stopped here on a cold night in Fall 2013 and Robert was incredibly accommodating, as no RVs were there anymore, just us sailboats seeking shelter from wind and cold weather. Restaurant was nice, but hear you need to come during the "season" for their reknown sausage!! A little lumpy with boats passing by on the ICW but not too bad tied to the dock.

Nice Stop and very quiet, 2014-06-14
Captain: , Beaufort, NC (282)

Friendly and accommodating. The new manager, Jeff, was very helpful to some special needs we had.

Great Spot for a Good nites rest, 2014-05-31
Captain: , East Greenwich RI (515)

This is a layd back dock and small country marina. Rest rooms were very clean, well maintained, excellent customer service fro Jeff the manager / dock boy/ store clerk !! He does it all and well. $1.25 per foot.On-site restaurant was temporaly closed. Jeff offered a free ride to and from grocery store at end of day. Docks in great shape.Would stop here again in a moment for a lay over hedding N or South

Great Place; Don't miss it, 2014-05-16
Captain: , Whitby (410)

Convenient, very clean, well maintained, excellent customer service all for $1.25 per foot.
On-site restaurant basic but reasonable. Free ride to and from grocery store at end of day.
Jeff met us on the dock in torrential rain to help tie up.
Very peaceful and quiet. Docks in great shape.
Would stop here again in a moment.

Waccamaw Serenity, 2013-11-17
Captain: , Wilmington, NC (250)

Stayed here one night heading south on 11/13/13. Rob, the dock hand, was very helpful. We stayed at the fixed dock, but the tide is only a couple of feet. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch, but closed around 4:00pm this time of year. The bath house is clean and the water is hot.
There's nothing really nearby, but the attraction is the Waccamaw River itself. The dock gives you an expansive view of the river. I stood on the dock at dusk looking up and down the river and thought to myself...this is why we do this. You don't get this view from your office.

Thank you!!!, 2013-11-14
Captain: , Jamestown, RI (110)

Decided to pull off and let the cold front pass over. Robert and his family couldn't have been more hospitable. After Robert helped us in and got us tied off his wife and daughter drove me to the Walmart - half hour each way so that I could buy a heater to deal with the 20 degree temps. Robert even tried to talk the restaurant into opening up. Will certainly come here again.

Great Stop, 2013-11-09
Captain: , Vero Beach Fl (51)

Stopped here years ago and decided to try it again. Mike dockmaster is terrific. Resturant is excellent. All of us ( party of four ) had a very good lunch. CALL AHEAD for the best SAUSAGE you will ever taste. If they do not have it in the store they will do their best to get it for you. Clean laundry and heads/showers..

Enjoyed our return trip toBucksport, 2013-10-28
Captain: , Michigan (583)

We stopped nb so we decided to stop again sb. No music this time but a nice inexpensive stay and a great meal including fried green tomatoes. A little Sunday afternoon traffic but it was all gone and very quiet by 6. No privacy in the showers even though there is plenty of room to put in stalls. Nice folks and I'm sure we will return..hope there is music again!

Satisfied customer, 2013-10-26
Captain: , Aquia Harbour, VA (1177)

Good stop right off the ICW. Quiet night, but I can see that on a busy week end or night, there may be wakes from boat traffic.Wooden fixed along side dock this fender boards along the front. Pilings are set in so that you can put down fenders before you arrive. Ate in the restaurant. Not fancy but good food at a reasonable price.

Out of Sausage Today!, 2013-10-20

Convenient Marina, 2013-05-23
Captain: , New Bern, NC (730)

We stayed here last night. Got in at 6pm. Robert stayed until we got tied up as the marina closes at 5pm. Nice side tie dock with power. Convenient right on the ICW. Restaurant at the dock. Had burgers and they were good.

Must Stop Buckstop!, 2013-03-18
Captain: , Indian River (10)

On a recent Delivery I had the pleasure of stopping here in Bucksport. I happened here by chance as I was nursing an older Sonny Briggs boat up to Jarrett Bay for a new engine. I had had a particularly rough couple of days and as I rounded the corner right at sunset Ralph kept the lights on for me. He got me fueled up and Kept the restaurant open so I could get a nice hot meal. When I say that the food was fantastic I am not exaggerating. The steak was better than anything Ruth's Chris offered at Grand Dunes and half the price. The next morning I was planning on getting up early and making my way on to Southport, but the boat Gods had other plans. Seems another gremlin popped in and had the Starboard engine dead as a door nail. Well this was Sunday in South Carolina and I thought I would be stuck here until at least Monday before any mechanic could get there to get me running. Ralph came to the rescue again and had a mechanic friend of his down there within the hour to chase down the electrical problem that had me tied to the pilings. Well it took the mechanic most of the day to find the broken wire that had me dead so I was stuck in Bucksport for one more night. However he did get me running and ready to get this boat up to Jarrett Bay. I got to spend the night there again with an inpromptu concert by Ralph and his friend in the restaurant. Words can't describe the hospitality of Ralph, his staff, and his friends. I've passed by this place a hundred times, but now will make it a destination anytime I am in the Ditch. Thanks again Ralph!

Decided to stay here at the last minute rather than anchor out again. Convenient location, helpful and friendly staff. Restaurant/bar on site which was quiet the night we were there - has potential for being noisy. Free laundry.

Marina is adequate for a one night stay, 2012-11-05

We were able to stay tied up at the fuel dock because the marina wasn't busy. The fuel dock is fixed, so with the tide changes, getting on/off the boat could be a little challenging. We arrived at the end of the day, received assistance with our lines and left early the next morning. It was a no frills stay, but it was enough for the short time we were there. There is a restaurant/bar with live music.

The burger we had was good but we really were looking to have some saugage. We were told they did not have it at all anymore.

Stopped by chance with no prior knowledge of the facility. Right on the waterway with long transient dock and full facilities, including a Resturant with great hamburgers!
But the biggest and best surprise was a country music show that happens every weekend!
The singer is the owner, and he and his band are truly exceptional! We sat on our boat's bridge and enjoyed an hour plus show of great country music that would do Nashville proud!
Excellent facility, very good food and amazing country music show (weekends only)!
We won't miss it on any future trips!

Really nice helpful folks, great attitude, good spot., 2012-07-15

Open under new management; substantial improvements to facility. Transient face docks are easy-on, easy-off; tidal range can make iy a high step at low tide. Re-opened on-site restaurant has simple menu with excellent food. Owner/operators Ralph and Patti are very customer-oriented. Fuel ($0.10/gal diesel) and transient dockage ($1.00/ft) discounts for MTOA Members.

Very helpful staff, quiet and peaceful location, 2012-04-03

Convenient gas dock, deep water, and a restaurant on-site. Very nice renovation. Be wary if there is no wind as this can be a very buggy area so bring your Off and citranela candles.

Service from owner Ralph and Dockmaster Ed is first rate. Restaurant waiting on its liquor license but should be through in mid-December. Right on the waterway so you get wake but it quiets down at night. 4' tide you have to be ready for. Nice spot.

Has reopened, 2011-11-17

I have not stayed since reopening and am basing my review on my prior experience. I would expect that refurbished faciility will be even better. Scenic, quite location.
