Reviews for Brockville Municipal Harbour
Lovely spot, 2017-04-18
Captain: , Kingston ON Canada (280)

Brockville's marina is a lovely place to pull into. Very helpful staff and being on the wall the boat faces into the prevailing winds. The wall is on a breakwall that is a lovely park with many friendly people. In fact much of Brockville's wtaerfront is lovely parks great for an evening's stroll. Facilities are clean and there are many restaurants, coffee shops and groceries within walking distance. Brockville is a lovely old Ontario town that has maintained much of its Victorian architecture. On Saturdays there is a large Farmers' Market with good variety.

Nice stop on the river, 2016-09-17
Captain: , Catawba Island Ohio (530)

It looked like a couple different marinas sharing the same basin? Anyway the transient spots were on the inside of the outer wall along the river. So the only thing seperating us from the river was a nice treed park-like area with benchs and chairs. We could look right out on the river and watch the freighters, (in case you haven't seen enough today). Clean bathrooms and showers shared the building that the cruise boat went out of, but only boaters had the code. OK wifi. Nice town to take a walk in, many food options. Good thai at Nakhan Thai ? Helpful young dockmaster.

Nice city marina, 2016-07-21
Captain: , Rochester, New York (223)

June 2016- we have stayed here many times and enjoyed the marina and town. This year the staff did not come out to help us in and were less helpful than other years. However the facilities including laundry are clean and close, and the town has nice pubs and restaurants. A new marina with transient docks (Tall ships) has opened on the other side of the marina.

dinghy dock, 2016-06-04

For anchored boats, you can use the northeast floating docks for coming into Brockville by dinghy. The harbourmaster will give you the access code. The market is just up the street and its big day is Saturday.

Brockville Municipal Harbor, 2015-08-22
Captain: , Rochester NY (310)

Called ahead for a reservation and they took our info but no deposit was needed. We gave them a call when we arrived and two dock hands directed us to a spot on the entrance wall that had a reserved sign posted on it saving the space for us. The town is close by and there are quite a few restaurants. We did enjoy the Keystorm pub and will try another place tonight. Only thing lacking here is wifi.

Brockville Municpal Marina, 2014-08-30
Captain: , sodus bay,ny (90)

Nice view of the river, frieghters pass by very close. Park like setting. Showers and bath rooms clean. Spent two nights. Nice town, good restaurants and bars. Killer indian food at Tandori Mint and great pub called Keystorm Pub.

Doorway to the 1000 islands, 2012-08-16
Captain: , Montreal (383)

This is the perfect place to stop if you are on your way to exlplore de islands. The marina is nice and well maintained. Space is somehow limited so it's a good idea to book a space ahead of time. The staff is friendly and helpful. They will let you stay for free for an hour or so if you need to get groceries or do some shopping.

Nice Town and Marina, 2012-07-29
Captain: , Longboat Key, FL (445)

We stopped at Brockville heading down the St Lawrence to Montreal. Great stop. marina is in a park so easy dog walking. Along side dock with helpful crew. Have fenders high for the wall. 30 amp pedestals but works fine for 50 with splitter. Nice laundry and restrooms. Grocery 3/4 mile away. Great restaurant Buele Street Bistro, eat on patio. Picturesque town.

Strange place, 2012-07-27
Captain: , San Francisco (171)

We pulled in expecting to stay here after being told that there were many places available in the town marina. As we entered the basin we were waved off by some official saying they were full. (6 spots)were available) Continued on to the fuel dock where the private marina found us a spot. It was actually better as it saves a long walk from the town marina. As i observered the town marina at least 3 spots were still open all night. ??????

Very nice stop, 2012-07-19
Captain: , Lake Champlain, VT (271)

We didn't explore the town, but the waterfront was very nice. Small snack bar nearby. Good wall to tie up to and a beautiful view of the river.

If your boat's wet in the morning, it may have been the sprinklers, not rain :)

Brockville Municipal Marina - A Lively Bustling Place To Stay, 2011-07-20
Captain: , Oriental, NC (1148)

The Brockville Municipal Marina and Chamber of Commerce are in the same building but have different staff. They are friendly and helpful. There is at least 8 ft of water at the seawall and the facilities are acceptable: heads, showers, laundry and ice cream paarlor. This Marina is a popular maritime walkway for strolling Canadian couples and a boarding place for those wanting to visit the offshore islands. The town is just outside and has all the services a cruiser needs. Good place to stop and relax.

Clean, nice setting, 2011-06-15
Captain: , Titusville, FL, USA (411)

Very friendly staff, space for transients and served us pleasantly. City Park is on the peninsula separating BMH from the St. Lawrence River so views of passing freighters is a great pastime. Plenty of depth for us, with 8 feet at the seawall by the park and Customs Shack.
