Proud to call Bridgeport home. Absolutely world class facilities and service and people that truly care about your stay.
No better marina on the Trent.

Fantastic Marina, 2015-08-13
Captain: , Hamilton, ON (10)

We stayed at Bridgeport from July 30 to Aug 9, 2015. When the reservation was made months ago we were given an Open slip# in "Half Hitch Bay, but upon are arrival were given the option to move to "Square Knot Quay". This slip was perfect! The picnic table and patio were covered and the boat remained open - just what us sun worshipers wanted. Drive up parking was very convenient for storing the cooler and extra gear when in port as opposed to taking up space on the boat.

First impression of this marina and staff - fantastic!! Everyone was friendly and attentive. Just when you thought you were going to dock yourself a "krew" member would appear out of no where and take a line. The grounds and facilities are clean, clean, clean!!

From the reservation process with Shane, check-in with Diedre, daily interaction with the Andrew and the rest of the "Krew" and check-out with Kyle everything little detail was taken care of with a smile. You can tell that the staff has a genuine interest in their job, the guests and the facility!

We will be returning same time next year!

Had a lot of work done on our boat after running into a rock just outside of Orillia and we could not be happier. The staff were very friendly and efficient and could not have done anything more to make our time there as pleasant as possible.

Problems With Your Boat - This is where you want to be., 2014-07-06
Captain: , Bronte Outer Harbour, Oakville, Ontario (137)

We had planned ahead and booked into Bridge Port Marina to stay for 1 evening based on the reviews in Active Captain. Unfortunately we hit a dead head on the way and had damaged a propeller. Kyle MacDonald assured me that they could haul my boat and get the Propeller repaired at United Propeller. I told them to go ahead at 8:00a.m. They had the boat out of the water by 9:00 and delivered the propeller to United Propeller by 9:30. They put the boat near shore power so that I could plug in and they provided a large staircase to get on and off the boat for my crew. I went along with Shane to drop off the propeller and on the way back he offered to drop me anywhere I needed to go to pick up supplies. At 3:00p.m. the propeller was installed and the boat launched by 3:30p.m. Kyle then wanted to go for a Sea Trial to make sure everything was working properly. I was expecting a large invoice but wouldn't have minded based on the service and quick turnaround. When I got the bill I was pleasantly surprised because it was significantly less than I expected. We then decided to stay another night and they didn't charge us because of the repair work that we had done.

Hopefully you never have problems with your boat, but if you do, you want it to be here. You can trust these people to do what needs to be done right, and charging a reasonable price for doing so. Everyone from the managers to the mechanics to the dock hands are committed to ensuring that you have a great experience.

great stop!, 2014-06-23

Lots of help docking, but be sure to watch the strong current in front of the fuel
dock. Very quiet after the traffic through the narrows ends. Showers good, quite a few laundry machines ($1.50 wash, $1.50 dry). Eat at Just Eddies, 10 minute walk away. Breakfast all day.

Awesome place, 2012-07-26
Captain: , Jacksonville Fl (1459)

I stayed here for a week while the admiral went back to the states for some business. Baths and laundry are top notch and the residents are very friendly too. Easy bike into town for groceries or goodies from the bakery. Did I mention I had a covered slip here for less than an open one downtown.

Terrific Place to stop., 2012-07-21
Captain: , St. Louis, MO (1696)

We spent two nights here and I agree with all the other positive reviews. Very looper friendly. We docked our 45' boat along a 50' facing fuel dock perpendicular to the larger primary fuel dock. We needed a few minor repairs and they had a technician there first thing in the morning. They have a very ample marina service and parts store on site. Very nice staff. Friendly and informative.
Orillia is a good sized city with all the amenities. It is a bit of a distance so you should use bikes or call a taxi. The Mariposa Bakery on Mississagua is absolutly decadent. Plenty of shops of all kinds.
It was fun to sit on some comfy wooden chairs by the dock and watch all the boats go by.
The only downside, and I mean the only one, is that some of the speed boats that are around there are kind of loud. But they are cruising by at idle so it ain't that big of a deal.
Terriffic place.

Very Nice Place, 2012-07-15
Captain: , Cincinnati (1800)

We only spent one night here but they made an outstanding impression. They even had a set of steps next to the boat before we even had a chance to get off. It is very clean and boater friendly. Fuel was competively priced and encluded a pump out. Multiple machines in laudry were a nice surprise. Water in marina was extreemly clean - 7 ft deep and could see the bottom. A few employees live on premises and made sure we knew where their boats were in case we needed anything after hours.

A very professional Marina. Kyle MacDonald who manages this Marina was a great help to us when we pulled in for repairs. He even drove us in his own car back and around to the South end of Lake Simcoe, some 30 miles away) where we had parked our car.

Super service - super fast, 2011-08-04
Captain: , Calgary, Alberta, Canada (854)

We pulled in to Bridge Port Marina at 1 pm with a bent prop from hitting a dead head in Canal Lake 2 days ago. Kyle MacDonald, the General Manager, had our SeaRay 40 MY hauled out and fixed up again in the time it took for us to have lunch at a nearby eatery.

Mgr (Kyle) is extremely helpful as well as all staff. Walk/bike path to Orillia. 5 min to restaurant & martini bar/bistro. Take 50 amp side tie end of fuel dock & watch the world go by! A wonderful marina, with good fuel prices.

Nice marina if you can get there., 2010-07-09
Captain: , Palm Coast (792)

By getting there, I mean two things - if they have room as this is mostly a seasonal marina and if you can get to the dock as this marina is located in a pinch-point between Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching. The very rapid current is compounded by a continous stream of passing boats, especially on weekends.

The dock staff is very professional and will get you safely on the dock - work with them. The facility is high-end. Well maintained docks and grounds. Fuel, pumpout (expensive) and power vacumn available.

Town of Orilla (well worth visiting) is a three mile walk or a $12 cab ride.

Great staff. Nice docks. Drive up slips and private deck area at each slip. Chandelery, fuels, full service capabilities including haul out.
