Reviews for Bridge Bay Resort and Marina
Bridge Bay Marina - Houseboat and Small Boat Rentals, 2012-09-30
Captain: , Yucca Valley, California (10)

Best value for the money we could find anywhere on a Western lake. Marina is more than adequate, best priced gas on the lake, and they have lots of boats to choose from. Right in the middle of the houseboating on the lake. Packer Bay across from them has a better launch ramp. Buy the better lake map, well worth $8 and be aware that you either need to highlight you current water level contour or be good at noticing that at full lake something is an island and at -70' it is a pennisula. Very easy no hassle boating - not much shore/beach area so day use is not all that great but we had an A+++ cove all to ourselves for a full week. Bring everything, Marina prices are high. Redding is only 10 minutes away and there is a Costco and better yet, a huge grocer store right next door called Winco. Shoulder seasons are best and less expensive for boat rentals. September had no AC or heater days and the water was in the mid 70's. Early June is the same. Only real bug issues were wasps when we used the Bar-B-Q. Next time I will take wasp traps, a better "jet stream bug spray" and my own high quality fly swatter. We are going back twice in the next year - a real value vacation especially if you dicker about the rental prices (this marina only - the rest did not have any interest).
